Look for another brand kit.
Not real impressed. The body was put together with the grain going both vertical and horizontal. Impossible to use a Tru-oil or opaque stain finish. What were they thinking. Guess painting is the only way at this point. Will be hard to sand also. I don’t recommend this kit.

Great gift for a bassist
Bought this for my son for Christmas. He’s having a friend do custom artwork on it before putting it together. He loves it!
