How thick is the paper & what kind of texture is it? Does the paint not warp r rip the paper

It's thick enough that the paint doesn't warp the paper and I've never had it rip in the 3-4 hours I've used it per session. It's a great way to start off, less mess than a pallet and let's you get the feel of the paints and how to use your brushes without the worry of clean up! I'd recommend it to any artist of any stage, worth the money!
