This pump does work great and does have long life. What customers must do once a month is to remove all parts to pump to clean all buildup of hair, etc . Use a small stiff brush to clean out and than rinse completely until water comes out clean. This is how I extend the life of these pumps. I will buy again when needed

This pump fits the flower cat fountain perfectly! It dits right into the spot for the pump and isn’t loud at all. You can detach it from the power so you can run the cord through the tunnel on this cat fountain. Works great as a replacement for the pump I had that died.

I am new to fountains for cats and a neighbor had given me this one. Our cat (Felix) loves it. I am not sure of "pump" standardization and having a discontinued Toozey "flower" model, I was not sure what to expect. Well it turns out that this pump is the "purrfect" fit for this model. Very satisfied customer.

We are using this pump to circulate water for the kitty’s fountain. I particularly like the ower cord and adapter as they are better quality than most. I had to make an extension tube as the dtbe had to create an vice’s nozzle did not reach the fountain’s bubble tube. Eady to clean. I recommend good brushes to clean it well.

Most of the pet fountains I've seen have the cord directly attached to the charge element, so if either one goes bad, you can't tell which and have to replace the entire thing. It also makes cleaning the fountain kind of a pain, because the outlet side won't go through the holes in the fountain, so you have to be super careful not to get the outlet wet. This one, however, has the cord just plugged into the outlet - great for cleaning the fountain and the pump, and much easier to deal with if something goes wrong. We had an outlet fail us, and all we had to do was plug the fountain into a compatible charge outlet from something completely different and it worked. Saved us from disposing something that still worked and buying another one.

The block gets hot and stopped working after 2 months

I bought this for the water pump that quit working on my cat water fountain. It works well but I'm having a hard time with the pump splashing water over the sides. The quality of the pump is not as good as the pump that came with the fountain.
