Great Lubricating Oil for Heavy-Duty Shredders
This IDEAL Special High-Cling Lubricating Oil is perfect for keeping my heavy-duty shredder running smoothly. It’s super easy to use and works great with the automatic oiler. The high-cling formula ensures the oil stays where it’s needed, which is a big plus when you’re dealing with a shredder that goes through a lot of paper (and oil). What I really like is how cost-effective it is—especially if your shredder “eats” oil to stay in top shape like mine does. If you have an Ideal paper shredder you don't want to skimp on its upkeep. I love my shredder, and it only gets the best and this is the only oil I will buy for it.

proper oild for shredded, but not really "high cling"
Works as expected in the shredded. As for the "high cling" part, it still runs down the page if you squirt it on the paper, but since you want it inside the shredder mechanism, who cares?

Good Stuff... Very Sticky
I've used all different types of shredder oil. Very thin viscosity. Found this stuff...,,same viscosity....,,but it really does cling to the shredder gears. My shredder starts whining when it wants oil..Used gallons of the regular products....But this stuff is a game changer. I use way less oil now, which means more money in my pocket. Good stuff !

... its shredder oil; not much to say. One star removed as we noticed this must be slightly thinner as it runs through the machine faster than the starter bottle we received with the shredder.
