Xavax Drain Hose Set for Condenser Dryers | 1 Drain Hose | 3 Hose Clamps | 1 Check Valve | 1 Siphon Connection with Seal

Purchased to extend drainage hose on Miele TWP140WP heat pump dryer and connect into my existing washing machine waste trap. Fits fine. Jubilee clips a little oversized and better tightened with a socket rather than a screwdriver. Make sure one way valve is fitted the right way round.

I was surprised by the quality for this price, it's not great. Plastics felt cheap & the seals were just okay. Worst part was the supplied jubilee clips were too big/poor adjustment so I had to buy some smaller ones. Tumble dryer hose was a loose fit on the supplier nozzle. However it did do the job with some work.

Don't waste your time with this, it simply doesn't work. I bought this especially for the dual appliance spigot, as none of the UK ones have the 8mm diameter spigot for dryers hoses for some reason. Unfortunately the spigot is a 25mm thread connection and no British waste will typically accept this. I purchased a couple of traps with 25mm appliance connections and even then the thread would tighten but the spigot itself was very loose and would leak water. This is brandless, and every manufacturer makes their waste connections differently, so this is effectively pointless. The hose and non return valve seem fine, but ultimately don't work with the kit provided. AVOID.

This just about worked with a bit of fiddling. The last reviewer was right that the hose clips are very stiff. They do work fine after dose of WD40. I could not get a good seal with the adapter for the sink waste which comes with the kit, but did manage using this hose with the adapter that came with the dryer. Did the job but tool a bit of fiddling.

You supply a pipe, connector and clip. But the pipe is too big for the connector. The clip caused the end of the pipe to elongate and leaks. It just the wrong size.

Overall this kit does the job My washing machine drain hose was bigger than the spigot so I had to add a rubber sleeve to make the seal.

This kit of parts just does not work, all the sizes are wrong, impossible to get a good seal on any part of it. For the money it offers terrible quality, totally unfit for purpose. The connector for the dryer is smooth, so there is nothing for the pipe to get purchase on and it just slips off. Main washing machine drain connector is also too small for a standard washing machine hose.

Unfortunately needed to send this back as it was a 20mm connector where every standards fitting is 40mm. Would work if I replaced a lot of the plumbing which is a massive task.

Das Xavax Ablaufschlauch-Set ist sehr praktisch und enthält alles, was man für den Anschluss eines Trockners benötigt. 🌬️ Der Schlauch ist mit 1,5m lang genug, und der Siphonanschluss mit Dichtungsring sorgt für eine sichere Verbindung. Die Schlauchschellen und das Rückschlagventil runden das Set ab und machen den Anschluss einfach und zuverlässig.

Installato su una asciugatrice Beko per prolungare il tubo in dotazione. Tutto ok, attenzione solo al verso del raccordo maschio-maschio che unisce il tubo in dotazione a quello del kiti perché la valvola di non ritorno deve essere messa nel verso di uscita dell'acqua.

Lo he utilizado para mi secadora Miele 8860WP de bomba de condensación. Se acopla perfectamente y un 75% mas barato que el original. Las medidas son de 8mm-10mm de diámetro interno de la manguera y diámetro externo de la válvula de retención de bola. Las válvulas de retención de muelles no valen pues no son pasivas y necesitan un par de bares de presión para abrir la válvula. Las de bolas según el empuje dirección del agua se abre pasivamente o se cierra. No se si influye ponerla en posición vertical o en horizontal. Yo lo he puesto en vertical con la flecha mirando para el suelo en dirección de desagüe. He consultado y he realizado distintas pruebas y creo que da igual, eso sí la válvula tiene que estar colocada con la punta de la flecha mirando a desagüe ¡¡Cuidado!!. Sólo vale para compartir el desagüe de la secadora con el lavavajillas o lavadora, pero la válvula y la manguera sólo se ajusta para la secadora. Los desagües de las lavadoras y lavavajillas suelen ser para mangueras de diámetro interno de 19-21mm. Yo lo he colocado con tomas independientes, lavadora, secadora y caldera de condensación con una T de pvc en un mismo desagüe de 40mm. Miele proporciona con la secadora un acople de desagüe con manguera, brida y boquilla de acople de color amarillo, por eso no he conectado la salida común de la lavadora y la secadora que viene con el kit.

Das Set macht einen guten Eindruck hat aber leider nicht auf mein Abflussrohr gepasst und ging deshalb zurück.

Le fascette sono di pessima qualità, ma facilmente reperibili in un brico o in ferramenta(non si chiudono e si spanano)...per il resto direi che il prodotto è consigliato...usato per evitare il reflusso della lavatrice finisse nell'asciugatrice (dato che appena arrivata l'asciugatrice ho passato ore ad asciugare litri e litri di acqua)
