SHW 51 x 51 L-Shaped Home Office Wood Corner Desk with Storage, Espresso

Super easy to build. it took less than 2 hours and the desk fit in the space perfectly. i wasn’t to happy about the lack of storage but that is on my part for selecting one with no shelf’s. the quality of the desk is good for a working desk. it is very spacious as i have two computers on mine.

I ordered the Walnut color and the photos aren't exactly true to color. It’s a little darker in-person than it appears in the pictures, so it doesn’t match my other furniture as well as I’d like. I considered taking away a star for this reason, but decided to give full stars because I’m still very happy with this purchase. Overall, I’m incredibly pleased with this desk for the price. I had a similar style of desk that got damaged during a move. I ordered this one as a replacement and I’m so glad I picked this one. This desk is much sturdier and easier to assemble than my last desk was for a lower price than I paid for the other one. My old desk was made of flimsy particle board and felt like it would break anytime I tried to moved it. This one has a stronger material and the slider installation method made assembly soooooo much easier. **Tip: for the pieces with 2 separate sliders make sure they are both inserted evenly at the same time to avoid having to push harder to get it in place. For me, everything went together easily with very little force applied. Took maybe 20 minutes to put together (if that) and I was able to move it into place with no worries of it snapping in half...Now don’t get me wrong, it’s still particle board (you get what you pay for), but it’s a thicker, harder material that doesn’t feel flimsy at all. It looks nice in my room and it makes a good space to study. It’s a win in my opinion 👍🏼

Amazing desk! Perfect size for my room. Easy assembly, no difficult components nor missing parts. Durable, and made of pretty strong material. I wish it was slightly taller, but my chair works perfectly with it somehow. Slightly more storage space would be nice. Overall, I love this!

I received the desk as a Christmas gift from my girlfriend (along w/a new printer) for my home office and I couldn't be happier. To begin with, the shipment arrived about a week ahead of schedule (which was before Christmas - Bonus!). And when I opened the box and examined the contents inside nothing was damaged or broken. The packing styrofoam was a bit busted up, but, it obviously did its intended job and protected the enclosed contents. All the necessary pieces and parts were accounted for and clearly marked. The assembly instructions were easy to follow and complete assembly took about 20 minutes. Once finished, I wound up with a decent-sized desk with a formidable amount of legroom and a satisfactory amount of workspace. The desk itself is quite sturdy and satisfies my current needs rather effectively. Additionally, if the need should ever arise, I can easily disassemble the desk for transport and quickly reassemble the unit in its new location. Just recently, the company the desk was purchased from sent an email verifying satisfaction and offered to rectify any issues I may have had. Good enough for me. So, in summation, the desk was reasonably priced, it arrived ahead of schedule (and before Christmas), it was not damaged in any way, nor did it contain any missing pieces. It was easy to assemble, has plenty of legroom and workspace, it's nice and sturdy, and the company the desk was purchased from followed up on the sale and offered to take care of any problems that may have arisen. For those reasons alone, I give the desk a five-star rating overall. It's well worth the price and I would definitely recommend it to a friend. 'Nuff said.

I was sent to work from home in March and was not prepared. I was working off my kitchen table! I knew I had to create a work area. The existing computer desk I had was too small to accommodate my situation. I found this item and the measurements were perfect for the small room I had. I was looking for an L shaped desk to take advantage of the surface area I did not have. Not only did I fit my two monitors for work, I was also able to pile on my personal computer. And to add a healthier option, I purchased a desk riser. The riser sits on the desk and lifts the work set up. Needless to say, this is a compact but sturdy desk for me. The desk has legroom. I chose to sacrifice a portion of the legroom for a space for my printer and CPU tower. Easily worth it for me as I am 5 feet tall...if you call that tall. I will advise the first desk was shipped via UPS and arrived mangled. There were tears in the packaging but I decided I did not pay for the package, I paid for the desk. Unfortunately the desk was damage and I returned it. The second desk arrived via Amazon and it was in perfect condition. Amazon made it easy to return the original desk. I would highly recommend this workhorse of a desk!

The desk overall is not bad, but the quality of the build is the problem here. When fully assembled (it was a pain to be honest), it doesn't remain in place. The slightest move of this desk, and the sliders that hold it in place (very cheap) start moving, making you have the constant worry that it will fall. The only weight on the desk is two monitors, a keyboard, and a mouse with mousepad. Occasionally we would add some craft items onto it as well, which wouldn't account for more than 5 lbs. With that said, the sturdiness of the assembly lacks heavily, and you can notice a very noticeable give when you lay your arm on the middle of the desk; this is while sitting on a chair by the way, so I could not imagine I am adding more than 20 lbs to it. I weigh less than 200 lbs, and only put my arm to support my head when looking at it. We bought it because it was cheap and needed something for the time being; we will definitely replace it as soon as we can with another one. If you truly don't have an extra $150-200 for another L-shaped desk, then this will get the job done. Just ensure that once assembled, you don't plan on moving it for managing cables or plugging/unplugging certain items; the latches WILL come undone.

This desk has been amazing! I have been teaching my kiddos online for the past few months now and this desk has been a lifesaver! The space is awesome and I am able to have my computer and my iPads set up with plenty of room!! I love the two shelves to keep all my teaching materials organized. I rated the sturdiness 4 stars because the corner of the desk where the two sides meet is a little wobbly, but only when I tried to move it into the corner. It is a little difficult to move, but once it is in place...it's great!! Be careful with the shelves until you have the two side bars on to hold them in place because they are pretty flimsy until the sides are on to strengthen them. I haven't had any issues with the shelves since it has all been put together and have a lot of teacher materials on them :) I gave the easy to assemble 4 stars because the two top parts were a little difficult to get snapped into place. Make sure you have them lined up EXACTLY as they should be! I had to take the top part on the left because one of the sides wasn't snapped in at all. The rest of the desk was super easy to assemble and I did it by myself :)

Firstly, beware, the box it arrives in is easier transported via two people. It can awkward to hold, so take that into account. Onto the Desk. The Good: - Firstly, it looks EXACTLY like the one in the picture. - All the parts are labeled in both an assembly guide, and via little stickers on each part. If you don't want to waste time removing them, don't worry, they are hidden when assembled. (Besides one on the bottom left, but it's not too noticable, honestly.) -It feels quite sturdy, at least when assembled. It looks very nice. It was also packaged quite well. The Bad - When assembling, make sure to have a helping hand and some space. The told left part slides in from the back, and the top corner and top right slide in from the right. Having two people and space will make this VERY easy, as the assembly guide is quite good. - The guide seems like everything is in an odd order. Even though it seems that way, I would recommend following it. -Some parts feel like your going to break them when putting them together. This mainly applies for the 12th (and final) stwp of assembly... Putting the two corner strips on the bookshelf. It felt like I was about to break them. -My neighbor saw the mail guy just drop the box on our concrete floored porch. I believe that is the culprit of a small chip on the left top. (Not an issue. It will be covered). NOT THE SELLERS FAULT -----TLDR;----- -Recommend having two people to transport and assemble. As well as a little extra space. Desk Quality 96/100 Ease of understanding (the guide) 91/100 Assembly 96/100 if you have two people and some spare space. (Recommended) 86/100 if it is only you. Would I recommend you to purchase this if you are debating it? Absolutely. The price is great and it looks very nice in espresso. The little shelf on the right is a plus too. My overall verdict 97/100. I don't normally review, and this is my first major one. I would buy from these guys again, no questions asked. Give them a try if you're trying to decide.

The product arrived earlier than set time. The items were all there. Nothing was missing. It was so easy and clear to build as the guide that was given was in photos form and not just in text form and such. It's very sturdy and nice. I like it

Easy to assemble. Not amazing quality- pretty much particle board and screws but I’m happy with it. It will work great for our 11 yr old daughter. Fits perfect in the space we planned for- good price for what you get!
