Japanese Shiro Nuka Rice Bran Skin Revitalizer with Sash Bag

I don't normally leave reviews but had to for this. I had read the book on Geisha skincare by the Tatcha foundress ("Pure Skin"), and when she mentioned rice bran being the first step of the four step Geisha skincare regime, rather than buy a high-priced formulation *containing* it, I immediately went to amazon, thinking I'd just buy it direct like the geisha's did. They used it in small little bags, just like is done with this product. I've been using it as a daily exfoliant, and it gets the job done. Gentle enough for every day, but still leaves my skin feeling "scrubbed" and smooth. Very, very happy with this product!!! I only wish it came in a bigger size so I could stock up. :)

I mixed this product with a mild soap as suggested by the instructions. 1/4 teaspoon maybe a little more. My skin was so smooth after I washed off the product. I followed with a little rice bran oil on my face ( I already had some but they put a little sample in my box) The package came with two sash bags which I thought was nice. I also like that this is not a harsh exfoliate, I was amazed how well this product worked on my skin. I liked the smell too, like rice crispies! I have been searching for an exfoliate like this. It didn't take long to arrive from Japan either. I will reorder.

I wanted to like this product, but I can't.

The quality of this product is very high: it came in a sealed, airtight package, the rice bran is uniformly and very finely ground, and it arrived in great condition. It left my skin feeling smooth and gently polished, and it's a good feeling to know that this is a very simple, pure way of cleaning my face. Also wanted to say that the seller did the nicest job of packing that I have yet seen on Amazon: everything was beautifully sealed and wrapped, and they sent along a small sample of rice bran oil, which has been very nice to try. Overall, a very good experience with this seller.

This smells great! I like the way it cleans my face but it clumps up a bit. Other than that I'm really enjoying this product.

So I used the rice powder this morning and wow my face feels so smooth. I am also in love with the little sample of rice oil included in the box, I used this on my lips last night, and this morning I have super soft lips. I am impressed overall. The packaging was put together with care a few nice samples included. I will continue to use these products and give an update either way good or bad.

I had best experience with this product and with the company. The packaging was incredible and the sample of rice oil that they sent me was very good. I used the product as a mask twice so far and I loved the results.

Great for skin cleansing and gentle. Wawaza products are great
