After hip replacement surgery, I am able to use this great seat to enjoy being out in the field while reducing my pain level.

Excellent quality, real leather seat all metal construction. Typical English design. Reminded me of the ones you see in old English hunting paintings.

Overall nice product. Unfortunately the seat is far too small. When opened, from the outer edge of the handles to the other edge of the handles is a less than 15 inches. The leather seat itself is only 11 inches wide. I'm 5'8" and weight a mere 140 pounds. Despite my being thin, the seat is far too narrow. My bum sits on the handles, not the seat. Would be good for a child, not for an adult seeking something comfortable. On the other hand, if you have some "cush in your tush" it might work well. Just not for a thin 70 year old.
