The title of the ad says non-gmo but once the product is delivered, there's nothing on the packaging to say it's non-gmo. How to be sure?

I thought this product was non GMO too, but I don’t see it saying this anywhere in the description or the packaging.

Does it need refrigeration?

I have kept it in the bag dry for months. Once it is mixed with water and cooked I would refrigerate anything not used for no more than a few days.

can this be crumbled to use like ground beef?

I wouldn't use this one for ground beef like substitute, as it's a bit firm. It cannot be shaped. We did use it in spaghetti sauce, but it's not like ground beef. Regular TVP can be used as a regular ground beef substitute, but I haven't tried to mold it into like a meatball or anything. We also use TVP for ground beef substitute in other dishes like stuffed cabbage, tacos, etc. This one is great for chili or stir fry where you would typically use cut steak. Hope this helps.
