Royal Doulton Pacific Mixed Patterns Dinner Plates, 11.4", Blue/White, Set of 6

Lovely looking plates ... bought as a gift for my son to go with their other sets.. sturdy too

I purchased these dishes together with the 9" plates and the bowls. At the time, I needed additional place settings for entertaining and I wanted something just a little different. These fit the bill -- they are lovely and everyone comments on the designs -- all of which go together. They come packaged very well; there was not a chip or a crack to be had. The 9" plates are just the right size for a good salad or lunch. The bowls are a little smaller than I am used to, but I can live with that. (I'll eat less ice cream and popcorn that way . . .) I'm planning to get additional side dishes. If you are thinking about these at all -- go for it!

I love the mix & match elements of the Pacific collection. I've mixed them up even further by adding Royal Doulton's Ellen "Love" salad plates and mugs to my Pacific plates and bowls. The blues are not quite a perfect match, but very close. Close enough for my min & match esthetics. The plates are not too heavy, which I appreciate. They are heavier than Corelle but lighter than stoneware. They seem quite durable and I expect them to last a long time. Fine to use in the microwave. I love them.

Lovely dinnerware. These plates are large and the varied designs make for a lively dinner table. The first set I ordered contained one plate with a small excess of jagged glazing on the edge. I returned that set and ordered a second set which were all fine. They are packed in a close fitting cardboard box with cardboard between the plates and raffia tied around them. This box is then placed inside another box for shipping. Ive ordered several pieces in this dinnerware collection.

When we received our order, one was broken. I checked info about returning it and was amazed at the "dog and pony show" we'd have to do to return it. We needed to take pictures of all sides of the box, picture of the broken item in the box (which we couldn't see until we unpacked it), etc. We're just going to do without a plate.The plates are wonderful, however. No marks are left when you cut on them, which I always hated with other plates. Love the different patterns.

The perfect size, sturdy but not too heavy. Beautiful design and color was same as pictured. Love them and ordered the cups to match which I love also. Dinner guest loved so much, she ordered a set also.

Great set of dinner plates, plus the option to add other sizes. Good value. A lot of complements from guests!

The dishes are light in weight & can be mixed and matched with either solid navy blue or white. I love the 6 different patterns where you can mix or match with the other dishes of the same line.
