Very strong and well made
This 1/2โ stainless steel shackle is a thing of beauty. It appears the shackle and pin are made from ยฝโ stainless rod which means these are similar in strength to a forging and that is exactly what you want in a shackle. The drawn rod is so smooth it appears to be polished. I bought two of these to use with my off road vehicle. My winch hook and tow strap hooks need a ยฝโ shackle to fit through the openings and these fit perfectly for that. Plus they are stainless steel so they wonโt rust. If you need a ยฝโ d-ring shackle, youโll be happy you bought these.

heavy duty and solid...fantastic
i have this hooked up to a large box anchor and it takes a beating and shows no sign of use whatsoever. the threaded bolt has not budged either and hasn't yet needed to be tightened. I have no concerns throwing my $250 anchor in the lake and wondering if it will come back. solid shackle and highly recommend

Stout d ring
This thing is surprisingly sturdy. I do sketchy things with it and honestly I'm surprised it's still in one piece and it's not rusting at all after a year being on the undercarriage of my car.

Used for 21โ Tuff End Marine Buoy (as a punching bag)
I used this to hang marine buoy as a punching bag. I actually had to return each of the two sizes down (which was the Amazon recommendation) because they were too small to attach to the loop. This was the smallest size that would actually fit the buoy. That being said, itโs strong, well machined, and has a beautiful finish. Itโs going to last and is a heavy duty product.

Seems really strong for the price
I've never purchased an item like this before, but it was perfect for handing a punching bag from. No issues with the hardware or shipping

Stainless steel
Well, so far it has had a good behavior agaist the corrosion. The materail is so shiny, I love it. I painted the pin in red and it looks amazing.

NOT 2
Title and package on the 1/2" says 2 pcs, in the description says 1pcs. You only get 1. The 3/8" size says 2 and you get 2. but the quality is very good on both sizes.
