Which grit size is more suitable for face?

I use 120 grit for my face. It really makes your face fresh and clean. I first apply my cleanser and then add about a 1/2 teaspoon of grit and massage into skin for about 30 seconds, then rinse. I always use in the shower, as it is easier to rinse off the grit that way.

120 grit is finer, the 100 is coarser.

does 100 gri have to be used with a machine but I dont have a machine I feel the 120 grit is not gritty enough for me
