Great replacement glove box latch
Easy to install and fit perfect. My original latch was starting to kick outward, so I bough this one to replace, worked like a charm.

08' Chevy Silverado 1500 Crew
Fits perfectly in our truck. Wasn't very hard to install. Had to watch a few YouTube videos to figure out how to get to the screws behind the latch but once we got the back panel of the door off, the screws were right there for the latch. We didn't have to take the whole entire upper compartment door off like some videos said to do. You can replace it without doing that. Just do your research because if you take the whole upper door off, you run the risk of breaking the tabs holding it in. And then you're replacing the whole upper glove box, not just a latch.

Perfect Fit!
Worked perfectly for my 2008 Chevy Silverado. Not sure why items like this aren't built better from the factory, but glad companies are at least selling the replacement parts. You DO NOT need to remove the lid, just unscrew the 6 screws to pull the back off, then swap out the broken part.

Fits great in the 2009 Chevy truck glove box To remove the back cover of the top glove box there are 4 screws two long back screws and two short screws that cover the door latch handle of the glove box and hope this help?

Saved a ton by DIY.
Upper glove box latch in my Chevy truck had been broken for a year. I knew if I took it to a shop for repair it would cost me at least an arm, possibly a leg also. Found DIY instructions for replacement on YouTube, so thought I’d order this and give it a try. Works like new. So glad to have this added storage space back.
