QwikDescaler+ Concentrated Tankless Water Heater Descaler Solution (1 Gal)

Previous house owner never flushed the tankless water heater and it stopped working. REN this stuff through for a few hours and it brought the heater back to life. The following year I tried to save some money and used vinegar. Thought it worked but when I recently flushed it again this year with this stuff and the water turned black. Increased water temp by 3 degrees. Only using Quuckdescaler from now on. This stuff works great.

Good product. It’s concentrated and mix 1:5. Because of my pump came with bucket and minimum level required a little more then 6 quarts, I had to add about 1 quart more eater which deluted descaler a bit more. But instead of running prescribed 30-45 minutes, I run it for 60 minutes. The cloudness of solution started to come in in about 20-25 minutes which tells me the solution started to work. After 60 minutes of continuous cleaning, there was some brown sediment and some sandy deposits in a bucket. Job done well.

Works great. Used on my Ranbai hot water heater. Recommended to neighbors!

Used 1/2 for 1 project and 1.3 for another, both came out clean.

Thus is my first time i used this product. I have tried 4 other products that cost much more . It seems like a good product. Even shows when you need to add more by a color change. I let this run for hours and my tankless water heater and needed it. I had to add extra product after about 30 minutes of use. I knew because it changed from pink to yellow. Due to the six months since my last descaling. This cost me less and I have some for my next time. So double the savings. I will reorder this next time and every time after. It even worked better then 90% vinegar with none of the smell.

I used this solution to descale my Rinnai tankless water heater and it did a great job. I needed to use it twice using a quart each time with 5 quarts of water. First half hour, a lot of gunk was extracted and on second run it cleaned it completely. I flushed the unit with cold water for 5 minutes afterwards.

Worked as advertised. Read the directions made the dilution ran the pump until the solution went from red to clear. This took about 15 minutes. Stopped the cleaning process, ran clean water through everything and all is good. This descaler is a good product which is better than the 10% vinegar solution I was using.

Really delicious. After decades of drinking hard well water, figured it was time to de-scale my body. Concentrate makes 5 gallons, perfect for a hot summer day.

Been living at our place for almost 2 years. Not sure when the heater was last flushed so rather than using vinegar I opted for this. Considerably more expensive but the reviews were good. bought the kit that had a pump, hoses and pail on Amazon so i knew all connections would work. Proly cheaper to buy the components, but piece of mind counts for something. Connected everything and I mixed the descaler 3:1 ratio and let it run. Foamed in the beginning a little, and I assume that is the calcium reaction. Now recommended time seems to vary so I let it go for 2 hours checking every half hour. At the 2 hour mark the solution started to change colour, which tells me the long cycle was correct. I mixed up a second batch and ran it for another hour, but no colour change. While I did not see any significant change in water flow or pressure at the tap, the colour change was enough to show me this worked. I will use this product again when I flush.

Used this for the first clean of Tankless Water Heater, everything worked as promised.

I've used three other products before this stuff on my Rinnai tankless water heater. The last product I used about 5 months prior and I was starting to notice issues so I suspected it needed a clean again so I bought this and it made a huge difference and foamed up a lot which led me to believe it was actually doing something too. My tankless has been running great for a while now... Touch wood.

Works good, less smelly than vinegar. Jug has enough cleaner for 4 applications.

Second time using this product. Seems to work fine.
