Schleich Farm World, Realistic Animal Toys for Kids, Golden Retriever Puppy Toy Dog Figurine, Ages 3+

my daughter has a golden retriever, and I purchased this item to put at the bottom of her wedding cake because she saw the cake where it looked like a dog took a bite out of it online. And she wanted it at the bottom of her cake as her dog is definitely a part of her family like one of her children. It was the perfect size and so adorable the bottom of the cake where I took a little chunk out and then dipped his nose in frosting before placing him next to where he took a bite out of it. It was perfect for the function. I needed it for good value and quality.

Smaller than it appears on the Amazon website, but the product dimensions are correct and the photo is accurate. It has realistic details, is painted well and has a really cute face. We have a pet female golden retriever. I got two of these little dog figurines for my teenage son and daughter. I put them in their Christmas stockings. They both put them on their desks in their rooms at home. I like that the figurines don't take up much space on their desks, but they also almost disappear among all of the things on their desks. The figurines can stand on their own, which says a lot because they are so small. I wish that Schleich would make a version that is about one to two inches larger, so that it stands out a little more.

Small and beautiful but wish it was bigger❤️

My 16 month old loves animals. He is learning to recognize images of animals, say their names, and make animal noises. Having these realistic tangible animal toys to match the photos in his books has helped progress his association with image, name, and noise. I noticed that once he gets an animal toy that he can hold, he starts to say the name of the animal, not just the sound it makes. He still puts the toys (tails or legs) in his mouth and gnaws on them. These toys are so sturdy and made with good quality materials that I'm not concerned about him breaking off parts and choking on them. With that said, I am still cautious and do not let him play with these toys unattended. The smallest animal that we've gotten him is the arctic fox.

I was asked a question on Amazon about this little dog, so got out magnifying glass. It has the German Co. name on it, but clearly says back leg "Made in China". SO disappointing. Feel this is falsely advertising their product. I looked at Amazon & way this is described says name of German Co. & that it's language is German making you believe it is actually made in Germany. I had ordered one to see if this adorable dog would work with my fairy garden for grands ages 6-8. It's too fragile for them to play with or have outdoors, but it is going into my dollhouse where the grands can have supervised play. I was delighted at first believing this was made in Germany. It is well detailed & was shipped quickly. I guess it is beware on Amazon & perhaps assume that everything is made in China. I took off one star for lack of honesty in product description. It is still a cute dog.

My granddaughter wanted this dog. It’s small but she always loved small toys. It’s cute and many animals to choose from.

The dog is just as described. So beautiful and great detail! It worked as a cake topper too!

My son wanted his birthday cake to be decorated with a dog and a bunny. I decided to get Schleich toys to decorate the cake with, instead of making marzipan figurines. The toy is beautifully made and of great quality. After the cake was all done, the decoration now serves as a toy along with our collection of Schleich animals. Would always buy again!

亡くなった愛犬の仏壇に置いてます。写真より少しマズルが長いのでうちの子そっくりではないですが、かわいいです。ゴールデンの置物がなかなかなかなく、この値段でしっかりしたつくりだと思います。
