This door will be used to create a pocket door once we put up a wall in our loft. The door has a modern look and will suit our needs perfectly. Because it is laminate, we will not be painting it. Here’s my rating scale for products: 1 Star: Regret ordering due to serious flaws/product failure. 2 Stars: I wouldn't order again because product is subpar. 3 Stars: Not my personal preference. I'd choose an alternative product if given another opportunity but this is ok. 4 Stars: Recommend ordering. This product met my expectations. 5 Stars: I love this product.

I ordered this door thinking I only had to drill a hole for the handle. Well.....I was wrong. You have to drill the hole for the handle and notches for the hinges. It is just a straight door. I haven't installed it yet. I'm waiting on my handyman to take care of that for me. I normally would give it try. But I don't want to mess this one up. Overall, this seems like a pretty good door. The color is even throughout. Once up, I'm positive it will fit my needs.

I mean this door isn’t what my husband would think is ideal for our home but we needed and it worked out wonderfully. The only sad part is I got this free and here I am cont playing how I can change all the doors in my home to black. We replaced our entryway hallway closet door. My kids broke the one we had and it was long over due to be replaced. I had the option of white or black. White would have matched all the other doors in the house but the impulsive me chose black! Like I live to regret it. It’s so beautiful! It’s modern design it’s wonderful. The black is elegant and flawless. It’s a modern upgrade. It will hide all the imperfections of kids easy to wipe down and again hide all the imperfections of little hands making everything look dirty. While my husband was so hesitant with the material used in this door as the ones we have aren’t as such. He agrees that it works nicely. I think I’ve convinced to replace the half bath now and the door to the basement to match the flow on the first flow. I’m telling you I’m obsessed with the look. He had no issues drilling in hardware. The door is lighter weight so no concerns with it being sturdy. It functions just the same. Such a simple upgrade has significantly approved the look and feel when you enter our home. I feel it’s worth the value for the money.

This door wasn’t what I expected. When I ordered it, the product title was full of keywords that made it sound like it was more ready to install—stuff like “pre-assembled,” “prefinished,” and even “pre-hung.” That last one especially threw me off. It doesn’t come with a frame at all, so I’m not sure why that’s even in there. It’s just a plain slab. No handle hole, no hinge notches. Not what I was planning for, so it's not all that easy to use. The finish also wasn’t quite right. I thought “prefinished” meant it’d be painted or coated in a pure white, but it’s more of an off-white eggshell. Since it’s vinyl laminate, painting over it isn’t exactly easy either. I probably should’ve read it more carefully, but I don’t think I’m the only one who could get misled by the way it’s written. Quality-wise, it's fine. It's shaker-style with one smooth vinyl surface. It has a gradual "J-bevel" rather than sharp 90º edges. Mine arrived intact with no dents or scratches. It's a fine door, if you're looking for a plain lightweight slab and don't need to match the white.
