Fractioned Coconut Oil Skin Care Oil, 4 Fl Oz

Was looking for a good quality fractioned coconut oil to use on my skin without any additives or other oils. Did not want to buy in large quantities in case of allergy, so Aura Cacia brand one fit the bill and quality it promised as I was familiar with this brand already. Used it both by itself and with mixing with the lotion I use daily for added moisture. It is lightweight and dries fairly quickly. No scent, which I totally appreciate. Kept the sun-bathed skin moisturized once I started to see the dryness in the skin. The size of the bottle is great. The bottle does get a bit oily, but nothing I can fix by wiping the bottle once in a while.

Great skin moisturizer that helps reduce KP spot scars. We also use it on our dogs (vet ok'd) to help relieve their dry, itchy skin and overall coat condition. It does tend to leave a greasy ring behind on the countertop but wipes away easily without staining.

received this oil about a week ago and have used it 5-6 times since. so far, i am very satisfied with the product! i had read of the healing properties of tamanu oil and decided to incorporate it into my skincare regimen to heal some stubborn acne spots / discoloration. i've been using it as a post-cleansing moisturizer, taking a few drops and applying it to my entire face (excluding my eyelids as i had heard it can be irritating to that sensitive skin) before bedtime. i take an extra drop and rub it directly on blemishes as an extra spot treatment. it is a thicker oil, but absorbs quickly and does not feel sticky or greasy, as compared to oils. this tamanu oil is a greenish hue, but i don't find that it discolors my face or gives it a yellow tone once it's absorbed. tamanu oil can be drying to people with sensitive skin, but i don't consider my skin to be very sensitive and have had no issues with over-drying. it does have a strong, unusual smell which i wasn't crazy about on initial application, but i have since gotten used to. i would describe the smell as nutty (imagine smelling a container of brazil nuts) but that is to be expected considering this oil is extracted from tree seeds/nuts. in the past week, i've noticed a more even skin tone and that one stubborn acne spot looks like it is healing. on another note, i had a small blemish pop up (not related to the oil) which i had gently popped (this is terrible, i know! i do not recommend anyone pop pimples or blemishes!) but i did and to try to atone for my sins, i put a drop of tamanu oil right on the spot afterwards. the next day, i was AMAZED to find that the blemish had almost completely dried up and left no discolored mark (and blemished usually do a number on my skin.) some may find it to be expensive for just 1 ounce, but i don't compared to other skincare products and oils - plus a little goes a long way. the past two nights i've been combining it with my sweet bee magic salve (which i also ordered from amazon and LOVE) to help absorption, and it makes my face feel so great the next day. i will definitely continue to use this oil for it's healing properties.

This oil saved my life. I had skin abrasions from scratching & tried a dozen different products for months, yet found little or no relief. Desperate for ANYTHING new to try, because the pain had awakened me from my sleep, I rummaged through my bathroom drawers and found a new bottle of Apricot Kernel oil. I figured it couldn’t be worse and was worth trying. I don’t remember why I bought it in the first place. It was the middle of the night, and as I mentioned, I was desperate. MIRACULOUSLY, it soothed my skin. After just a few minutes, I could tell that it was having a calming effect on that area. Unbelievably, it allowed me to fall back to sleep. In the morning, I began searching for information about this Apricot kernel oil. It is worth reading about all the benefits found in this product. Simply put, it has many healing properties all on its own. I have also replaced my coconut carrier oil and now use this in my Essential oil recipes. It’s a bit thicker; 2nd in absorption rate to coconut oil, I read. Sometimes, I mix the two. Now I use it morning and night and it prevents my thin skin from getting too irritated. It’s great!

Tamanu oil is SO underrated. Whenever I have zit or any sort of break out this oil moisturizes but also “dries” out the zit itself. Absolutely fascinating product. Apparently some people use it heal BURNS. Doesn’t smell the greatest, but it does wonders for my skin.

Feels great on the skin

The product has been amazing.Initially i was reluctant to buy bcoz of steep price and doubted if could cause me more acne.But this has done wonders.The pigmentation reduced within 5 days of use and it had been 20 days since i started using it.I feel a little improvement in my pitted scars too.May be with continued use it might help that too.This s worth every rupee spent.

Love this skin care oil for post needling or bedtime routine as quite thick. Not perfumed or any nasty chemicals. Quality organic ingredients.

This product works! I watched about the effects of Tamanu Oil in some YouTube video and wanted to give this a shot, and it actually is effective at visibly fading acne scars. Very happy about it and buying more bottles for my family too. I am putting it on only night time as it is oily (duh.. haha) and doesn't do well under make up.

Lo uso insieme alla crema idratante notte e l'olio Sea Buckthorn seed, 3 goccie di ogni olio e una nocciolina di crema. Io avevo la pelle mista, la zona T era molto grassa e avevo paura di usare olio nel viso se per caso m'ingrassava di piú; dopo avermi stra consigliato tante volte di provare mi sono decisa e non torno indietro. Da che li uso ho la pelle molto idratata, luminosa e l'acne che avevo mi è sparito nel giro di un mese, la mia zona T non è molto meno grassa di prima. Dicono che questa combinazione di olio aiuti anche con le macchie. Continuerò a usarli e vediamo.
