Can this be used as a swim/dive towel?

I think you’d be rich better off with a regular towel

No. Have not noticed any color bleeding. Very absorbent. I cut some in half for convenience. I think they're terrific.

Can you put these in the dryer or do They need to air dry

I let them air dry but think it would be fine to put in dryer

What are they made from?

I do not know exactly. Looks like a felt, but it isn't . It appears to be exactly the same as shamwows. I believe made in Germany. A lot more absorbent than a towel.
