These special length coated rods are manufactured with 8 x 36 male threads allowing the use of dewey or other manufacturer's accessories without the need of a special thread adapter. Each rod comes with a hard plastic ball bearing handle and Universal slotted tip. The rifle rods are the perfect length for highpower service rifles. Rod was not encased in a tube and bent severely when packaged.
Rod is exceptional quality. Nylon coated and very high quality.As stated above, ruined when packaged by not encasing rod inside a tight-fitting tube. Purchased from Midway and arrived packed exceptionally well.

Bent the rod to fit into UPS box!!!!! Totally useless now!
Someone bent the rifle cleaning rod to fit it into a UPS box. This is either the result of absolute stupidity or downright maliciousness by an anti-firearm activist. A rifle barrel is strait. How am I supposed to clean my precision hunting rifle with a hockey-stick shaped cleaning rod???

Great for cleaning the .22LR
Perfect for cleaning those pesky .22 rimfire rifles. Even with using a bore guide the 36" rod will still extend through a 26" barrel. The included .17cal jag gives a really snug fit when paired with two Pro-Shot .22-270 Caliber 1-Inch RD. 300 Count Patches

This item is perfect for cleaning my S&W M&P 15-22 rifle. I still use a boresnake first, but finish up with this and some patches.
