Worked very well!
Used on front tires on compact tractor to steer on ice. Also put some on my boots to keep from sliding around at work. Easy to install and take out.

Works just as advertised, good buy
For some reason I thought that you would be a little larger

Included tool useless, studs seem fine
It seems they really are hard. Wore out the install tool after only about 20 screwed in. It barely fit and the inside rounded out quickly. I switched to a 6mm socket and it works fine. The included tool was nearly useless. Just go straight to your 1/4 drive 6mm and drive them in with your drill set to a low torque setting. They seem to be exactly as described. Haven't put them through their paces yet. I'll update if I'm disappointed.

All-purpose carbide studs with installation tool.
Good value for the price. I install these standard carbide spikes (the shorter size) in winter boots because I deliver newspapers pre-dawn when nothing is shoveled. All you need is a drill, a 5/32 drill bit with a stop or piece of masking tape to insure correct depth of the hole. The installation tool is included.

Do not waste your money on this product!
What a waste of money! While the screws seem nice, you cannot install them without the installation bit. It is included BUT IT DOESN'T WORK. It is too large for the screws. So instead of them smoothly going into the tire, they whip around in an infuriating circle on the end of the drill, scraping bits of rubber up but absolutely NOT going in. Because of the design of the screw head, it is virtually impossible to find a bit that will work with these screws outside of the included junk bit. I absolutely 100% regret buying these tire studs.

Good installation tool
I like the strong magnet in the installation tool It holds the screw studs firmly so the screw don't fall out as I am using my cordless drill to install screws into my winter boots.

You need about 100 studs per tire! Get at least 5 packs so you can do your own quality control!
So my winter tires have 50 holes... per side (inside outside). Nowhere does the tire specify how many studs it needed. Nowhere did this product give an estimation for how many you would need for a tire (granted every tire is different, but saying a 26” tire takes about 70 studs is a helpful ballpark. The quality is lacking. Several of the carbide tips are not level, ie not seated properly, and will probably be torn out during use. Should’ve listened to that other review better... I'm pretty handy, but you can only do so much with what is on hand.

Work perfectly
Put these on my rubber tracks , mini bull dozer , worked Great!!! No more sliding sideways backwards or forwards on steep driveways removing snow and ice. These are easy to install with the tool that comes with them, DO NOT pre-drill to install, just use the tool provided. I pre-drilled appx 20-30 studs in my under carriage. Lost every stud that I pre-drilled the under carriage for. Screw them in, set them fairly deep and they will stay put and give excellent traction on ice andsnow.

Small, but just what I needed
These are pretty small studs. But I bought them knowing that. My intended use was for my seed spreader to use it to spread salt in the winter. The spreader has plastic wheels that slide when trying to spread salt on our driveway on anything besides bare pavement. Took about 25-30 studs per wheel and it works perfectly on snow and ice. The spreader will still work fine in summer to spread seed and fertilizer as it will be used on grass/soil. I noted some complaints about the included installation tool, but it works fine for me. Inserted into the power nut driver and never slipped or stripped a stud. You do have to stop every 5-10 studs though and make sure the socket portion is clear as bits of plastic/dirt would pack in and the stud wouldn't go in as far. Quick blast of air and all was good again. That's not a problem of the installation tool though. It worked fine. If you're looking for some small studs to do a small job, I fully recommend these!

So far so good
Installed on mountain bike tires, for use on ice and packed snow.Meets expectations. I've done two rides so far in winter bike trails. Up to now, I've lost none of the studs. They do help a lot climbing an icy surface.I find the 9mm length threshold before going across all tire thickness. So I did not insist on getting the hex head flush. They stick out by about 2/3 of the head axis. Installed this way, and lowered tire pressure to 25lbs, no damage to tubes, and performs well. Put 56 on rear, and 42 on front. I would not roll on pavement in this configuration.I am not qualified to confirm if the tip really is carbide...I will certainly purchase more as I just ordered a fat tire bike.

Good traction
They seem to hold in the lug pretty good and definitely add traction on ice. Some get stuck in the provided bit easily and have to be pulled out with pliers. Overall worth it

Mieux que ce que je m'attendait
Super, j'en ait installé sur ma souffleuse Honda et mon VTT pour pousser la neige sur fond de glace et ce sont très bien installer et rapidement.Je suis très content.

Disappointing
The driver bit that comes with studs doesn't fully engage. The picture of the studs shows that it have full plenty of shoulder for the socket to engage, not the case. I bought 600 of these things and all of them only had a sliver or the shoulder just above the thread that engaged the socket. Had to use an actual socket and even then it didn't drive the stud deep enough, leaving it proud and not fully secured in the tire. I wouldn't even consider giving them a second try since all of the separate bags were the same.
