The arbor is so easy to build even I could do it
The arbor is so easy to build even I could do it. It is sturdy and looks great. I did run out of glue though, maybe include 2 tubes of glue in future shipments and add a dollar to the cost of the arbor. The tough part is getting the arbor where I want it and have it completely level. I have the holes dug just need to put the 4x4's in secure them and get it level. I am not sure if I should pour concrete in the holes or just pack in the dirt around each leg. The wife is patiently waiting for me to git-r-dun because she has vines ready to plant around the arbor.

Great Arbor
We were looking at this arbor for awhile, it was to big for the walkway we have. We went back and forth on purchasing it. After looking at all the pictures and instructions I decided to purchase it. I opened up the two boxes and laid everything out. Took my measurements (which were 36 inch walkway inside dimensions) and started assembling the arbor to fit my walkway. Everything worked out great because the pieces that they give you are adjustable, I couldn’t use there instructions because I was making it fit my dimensions. Most definitely use 4x4 for your poles especially if you are installing a gate like did, I used my gate that I had attached to my fence. I recommend this product, it is very well made and the PCV is pretty heavy duty.

Beautiful
I absolutely LOVE my arbor! It is so sturdy and adds so much beauty to my yard. I am growing muscadines on it. I would highly recommend purchasing this.

Leveling is Tricky
Put this in as a free-standing arbor. I inserted 4x4 posts per instructions and cemented them into the ground. Some tips that worked for me: 1) I only extended the 4x4's about 27" beyond the vinyl (rather than 36") and drilled 8" diameter holes in the ground; it took 1 80lb bag of quikcrete per hole to cement them in. While we have winds here up to 50 mph, it's not hurricane velocity and there's no fence or gate attached. 2) I assembled each side and leveled them vertically and horizontally before attaching the top, then re-leveled them to be sure. It's helpful to have a solid straight edge over 50" long to place the level on to insure the two sides are level to one another. I used bricks in the hole to keep the poles in place and level while I added the concrete. 3) The pre-drilled holes in the vinyl posts that receive the Sur-fit brackets were not placed correctly; this meant that the hole in the bottom of the bracket that is supposed to point down, pointed sideways instead. No big deal; I just made sure that those holes all faced toward the inside of the arbor so that the screw heads (used to attach the side panels to the brackets) were not visible from the outside. 4) The 4 post trim pieces that are supposed to stay snug against the underside of the 2 carrying beams tended to slide down the posts to the top of the curved arch. No problem--I just put one screw in each post just below the trim piece to keep it from sliding down and painted the screw head white.

Yes! Perfect
Awesome and very beautiful arbor. We love it. Digging and cementing the holes are the hardest part. Putting it together was ok. Good directions.

Good- after modification
This arbor is beautiful once installed, but like other reviewers have said, the holes are not even close to lining up. You will have to cut new holes in the posts. If you are handy, it is doable. Once you get beyond the installation difficulties, it really is a beautiful arbor that seems to be extremely sturdy.

Buy THIS arbor!!!
Beautiful arbor! Directions were clear and concise. We used 4x4 posts buried in concrete so it won’t go anywhere! The design details are simple, yet elegant. We can’t wait to grow some Climatis next summer to accent our arbor. We did our research and looked at A LOT of vinyl arbors before finding this beauty.

Beautiful arbor
I assembled and installed mostly by myself. Def recommend helping hands. I am in process of installing fence on either side. Wish I would have thought to install base post wrap before I assembled unit. It’s a great product and project. Going to be beautiful when done. Just think about the whole project such as accessories and lighting when planning🙃
