Is this okay to use as a shampoo too?

I do sometimes, but, products designed for the scalp generally differ from products designed for the skin. I have fine curly hair, I generally don't use conditioner, it "flattens" my hair, I'm a senior, I found it works as an alternative to shampoo occasionally, but, used too many times, left my hair "dry", too fluffy. It might work well for someone with a more oily scalp.

Why without the original box? I had both 40oz and 16oz ordered but in-store products have boxes. is this then original product?

I have ordered several 40oz bottles...none were shipped in the individual boxes. Product is the real Neutrogena product. I am assuming they are just cutting down on the shipping cost.

does neutrogena 40oz rainbath have parabens in it? Is it paraben free?

I do not see paraben free on the box and I don't see paraben listed in ingredients. I do know this is my favorite shower gel. It rinses clean and clear.
