Charger Cable Protector for MacBook - Adapter Cable Saver Compatible with 45W/60W/85W

I've been using this product on my cable for 5 months. Bought one for my husband's new charger and figured I might as well use one too. I don't recall any damage or abnormalities to my wire prior to using this item. Recently started to notice small tears on the wire. When I took the cable protector off, I could see the wire was fried. Thought this item was supposed to prevent that from happening....BUT.....I can't rule out the possibility that the cable had already begun to weaken before I used the protector. My concern is that this item covers any potential damage that could be happening. If I had known the wire was starting to fray, I might have been able to prolong its life with a little electrical tape. Mixed feelings on this product. I'm off to buy a new cable, and I might as well buy this product again to go with it. Sadly, the product is not reusable due to the strong adhesive. Please note, however, that you CAN pop the non-adhesive side off the product to inspect your cable and then click it back into place. Verdict: Some protection is better than nothing at all. Use common sense and check your wire thoroughly if abnormalities arise.

Really simple to attach to the charger , so far protecting the cable

Ottimo, proprio quello che ci voleva per l’alimentazione del mio Mac! L’avessi preso prima non si sarebbe guastato il connettore (grave difetto di progettazione quello dei megasafe 60W) tuttavia i “dentini” a incastro sono troppo delicato, dopo un paio di aperture 2 si sono rotti ho sopperito con del nastro isolante

Le produit me parait satisfaisant (quoique je ne le saurais vraiment qu'à l'usage), mais surtout, je trouve l'annonce ambigue : je n'ai reçu que l'embout protecteur et son manuel d'utilisation, et pas la corde de protection à entortiller, alors que l'annonce indique : " Contenu de l'emballage : 1.Collier de protection * 1 6,5 cm corde de protection * 1 3.Manuel de l'utilisateur * 1" Donc soit c'est mensonger soit j'ai mal compris quelque-chose, mais si j'ai mal compris quelque-chose c'est que ça n'était pas clair… Bref, pas à 100% satisfait.
