My cats love it. But... It's hard to get or always unavailable.

My cat loves this. Been using it for 3 years now. I have tried others but this is the only one he likes. I spray his scratching posts and toys and he's in heaven. Right after I spray the post he licks the carpet on the base of the post. The others I bought on here, he just walked away. The amount you pay for the size of the bottle you get is great. And the bottle lasts awhile. I spray his stuff once maybe twice a week. I like that it's all natural. It says it's highly potent on the bottle, and I believe it.

This is a really big jar of Catnip! It lasted about 6 months with 8 cats so that is a great value for the price. Not all of our cats took to this catnip for some reason because it was a new brand I tried to introduce to them but the majority of our cats enjoyed it. This catnip is not grounded to a fine herb, it is more of a medium to large grind since there are some long pieces. I have to agree with most of the reviews that some of the pieces can poke at your hand when you are taking it out of the jar and crumbling it in your hand. I have not experienced this with any of the other catnips that I had purchased prior. I did not have any problems opening and closing the jar, I was worried about that because some stated that happened. It did stay fresh for the entire 6 months that we had it. In the meantime I ordered a different brand for the cats that did not take to this catnip and did not reorder this one when we ran out. For the cats that did enjoy this catnip they had a great time rubbing themselves all over it. Meowing and purring for a long time, getting frisky and sleeping like babies. They at least had a good time with this brand. I would recommend this catnip to owners that want a more medium to large grind herb but not to the ones that want a very fine herb. The packaging for the dry catnip is slightly different than what is listed in the photo. It is not a transparent container, but a tall, opaque white container. I assume that is to help keep the catnip fresh. Despite the packaging being different, the amount that you get inside matches what is listed on the product page, 3oz. I ordered this as I had run out of the catnip I had, and it arrived within a couple of days. My cats love it, any time they hear me unscrew the lid they come running. It has the usual properties of catnip, like making them excitable and roll around like silly little creatures. Even our oldest cat loves it, unlike previous varieties of the stuff I have purchased. All around a great purchase, and a decent price point.

My cats like this brand of catnip and it’s a good amount for the cost. The bad part is that both times I ordered this product the lid had come off during shipping/delivery and as the pictures show, it’s all over the box. I normally don’t provide feedback (I know I should and I’m working on that 🙂) so it was easy for me to move on with what I received and deal with the lesser amount of nip and the cleanup of it being in and on everything it shipped with. Time past and I needed to reorder catnip, went to my Amazon orders and got the same one, forgetting the unscrewed lid incident. I remembered once I opened the box. If I knew that the next shipment I received was going to have the lid secured by tape or by some other means, I’d purchase this product again. Until then, I don’t want to clean up another mess for the third time. Thanks!

Our cats love the scent once it's sprayed anywhere. We had a new cat tree that they wouldn't touch, as well as a new cat house. As soon as we sprayed both items, the cats sniffed around and walked over and started rubbing their faces all over the area that was sprayed. Pretty funny but cute. We spray it on some of the toys that we want them to engage with, and it works

I bought this for my mom's cat that loves catnip. My mom says that her cat not only did not like it, she "recoiled" from it. Those were her words as I did not witness it but I figured Hmmm, weird, let me try it on my cat, who also loves catnip. Well, my cat sniffed it a little but really had almost no reaction to it at all. She usually grows crazy for it! So definitely something wrong with this product, I thought. Later, however, I saw that my cat was eating it, and almost all of the catnip that I had placed on the tile floor was now gone. I know some cats eat catnip but my cat had never eaten it. She became very ill within the next 2 days. She was a 4 year old indoor cat and had never been sick even a single day. Don't remember her ever even throwing up. I took her to the vet and they said her kidneys were failing, likely due to ingesting something toxic. They mentioned antifreeze and some plants but my cat is indoor and doesn't have access to anything like that. My cat was gone four days later despite my best efforts and full 24-hour emergency room vet monitoring. I have no proof that this catnip made her sick and so I debated even posting this information, but in the end I felt it was important. What if this product is toxic to some cats? What if their quality control is so poor that some of their containers have worthless or toxic contents? This is the first bad review I have ever posted so please believe I am taking this seriously. If anyone has had a similar experience with this catnip, please post on here.

Bought 2 scratch devices and spayed this product on these devices numerous time. The cats could not be tempted. In the fine print, the product says it works best for younger cats :-)

This was a bottle of water with a sprinkle of catnip in it. Not potent at all.
