Great PSU with extra protection
I've been using the MSI MPG Ai1300TS PCIE5 in my RTX 5080 gaming PC, and it has been an excellent upgrade. The installation was simple thanks to the fully modular cables, and the overall build quality feels premium and solid. One feature I really appreciate is GPU Safeguard+, which helps provide additional protection for my GPU by monitoring power delivery and helping prevent issues caused by abnormal power conditions. Having this extra layer of protection gives me more confidence when running demanding games and workloads. I also like the integration with MSI Center and MSI Afterburner, which allows me to monitor system performance and power usage easily. Even under heavy gaming loads, the power supply remains quiet and delivers stable power without any issues. The 80+ Titanium efficiency, native PCIe 5.1 support, and dual 12V-2x6 connectors make it a great choice for high-end GPUs and future upgrades. Overall, this is a reliable, feature-rich PSU that offers excellent performance, efficiency, and peace of mind for anyone building a system with an RTX 5080 or other flagship graphics cards.

GREAT POWER SUPPLY!
The MSI MPG Ai1300TS PCIE5 is an absolute beast of a power supply. Packaging was excellent, and everything arrived in perfect condition. Installation was straightforward thanks to the fully modular design, which made cable management much cleaner than previous power supplies I've used. The build quality feels premium, and the included dual 12V-2x6 cables are a nice bonus for high-end GPUs. Knowing it's ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 ready gives me confidence that this PSU will handle future upgrades without any issues. The unit runs extremely quiet, and the 80+ Titanium efficiency is a great feature for reducing wasted power and heat. MSI also backs this power supply with a 12-year warranty, which speaks volumes about their confidence in the product's reliability. If you're building a high-performance gaming or workstation PC and want a top-tier PSU that should last for many years, this is an excellent choice. Highly recommended.

top of the line
Wanted to future proof my pc and get a 1300 watt psu. friend recommended this one with titanium 80+ and server grade materials so i dont have to worry. also comes with safe guard + which also eases my mind. cables are premium and fully detachable. Powers my pc great and is smaller than my original psu. it isn’t loud under load and can power 2 GPUs with their 2 12V cables if i want to have 2 in the future hehe

Fully Modular and High end Power Supply
This power supply is one of the best units available from MSI. This shows with the build quality which includes 80+ Titanium rating which means this power supply will runs at 92% efficiency at the time of testing. The standing operating noise is good and barely noticeable. Fan Failure protection and Over Power protection work well for this price and will protect your investment in parts.

Great Buy
The MSI MPG Ai1300TS PCIE5 is a really solid power supply and the two things I love most about it are the GPU protection and how efficient it is. It actually monitors the power going to your graphics card to help prevent those melted cable issues you see with high end cards like the RTX 4090 or 5090, which gives you real peace of mind. It also runs cool and saves power thanks to the Titanium rating. Just be aware that this unit is huge at 190mm long, so before you buy it you absolutely need to check if your case can fit a power supply that big because a lot of standard mid tower cases won't handle it. Buy this if you have a flagship GPU and a roomy case

Great aesthetics and performance!
First thing’s first, I LOVE the graphics all over the power supply. The holographic design against the black (almost carbon fiber looking) is very tasteful and I’m super impressed with MSI just for that aesthetic alone. The performance compliments the design perfectly too! I have a pretty high end build with a RTX 5090 and Ryzen 9 9900X3D, and this PSU powers my build with great efficiency. The Safeguard+ gives me a lot of peace of mind that my expensive GPU will be protected from overcurrents, bonus points to MSI for that! For the real enthusiasts out there, the integrated software is a really nice touch to truly monitor what this power supply is actually doing. There’s so much more I could say about this PSU, but overall it’s one of the best that MSI has put out to date!

Impressive, per-pin OCP and msi afterburner integration is great
The main reason you would be considering this over something cheaper is for the per-pin OCP on the 12v-2x6 connector for preventing fires. As of the time of me writing this, there aren't too many brands that have come out with their version of this on the PSU side of things. I think maybe asrock is the only other one currently. For other solutions to preventing fires, there's ampinel and thermal grizzly but its a little device you connect to the GPU cable and there's also the thermalprotect cable from corsair but I was mostly interested in a PSU side solution with per-pin readings. Seasonic is taking their sweet time with their optiguard solution and I have a feeling it will be even more expensive than this PSU because they're advertising it for their enterprise customers who needs it for A.I stuff. Corsair has something as well but only announced it for a 1000w psu (wanted at least 1200w) and its not even out yet. What I'm trying to say is the other brands are taking their time and I wanted something now so I wanted to try my luck with this one. Aesthetically it really doesn't appeal to me personally. It has a bit of the "gamer" aesthetic with the lettering and holographic images on the sides. One thing I really didn't like is that the fan is on the top when the ports on the PSU are at the correct orientation. That really confused me because my case needs the intake fan to be taking in air from the bottom but if I do that, the ports are upside down. Bit weird but whatever. SUPER quiet, the fan seems to kick in at like 50-60% load and the rpm is really low. Even during stress testing, I can't even hear it over my case fans. The cables are gorgeous, embossed jacket and very flexible. Makes cable routing super easy. The cable combs are nice and really helps with the look, even having them on the CPU cables as well. There's a usb-c cable included which you can connect from the PSU to the motherboard and you have to make sure you connect that up for the monitoring system. Once you install MSI center, your PSU will show up on there and you can see the GPU safeguard+ information like the per-pin amps and output wattage, efficiency, average wattage, etc. After that you can integrate that with MSI afterburner but you need version 4.6.7 (beta currently), go to the monitoring tab, and where you see active hardware monitoring graphs, click the 3 dots and put the check next to PSU.dll. You'll now get new entries in the Graph section like "PSU 12VHPWR1 Alarm" and also the per-pin current on each of the 6 pins. The Alarm specifically is nice because if you highlight it, you will get an option "Enable MSI GPU Safeguard+" and if you enable that, if the alarm on the PSU ever turns on, it will lower the power profile on your GPU. Great stuff, would've been nicer if the 12v-2x6 cables just work and we didn't need any precautions at all but it is what it is.
