work great on knits too
ok, I changed my mind; always thought the spendy schm... brand was the best. now I find these needles to be less expensive, not as fragile, easier to thread and surprisingly, sew smoothly thru wovens and knits with no skipping. this 90/14 size fits my 50yr old machine and is the trouble-free size for most any project. (am 76, sewing has been my beloved hobby for 60yrs)

Bad batch?
These needles are usually a great basic to have on hand and do exactly what I need. This time, though, 1 of the 4 had no eye. It’s too late to return them so I’m stuck. I’ll still buy these needles but will carefully check them as soon as they arrive just in case.
