I didn't even know they existed other than the attachment you can put on your air hammer (don't try that one) I came across a Yo
Let me start off by saying I've been a professional body tech for quite a long period of time and I have never used a pneumatic tool for a door skin. To be quite honest, I didn't even know they existed other than the attachment you can put on your air hammer (don't try that one) I came across a YouTube video of this tool and couldn't believe how easy they made it look. I figured for the price I might as well buy it and test it out for myself. The tool came with an instructional video so I watched it first and the next day I grabbed myself a door skin job to give it a shot. I was pleasantly suprised that this tool worked exactly as advertised. All you have to do is crimp the corners and style lines in the door then slightly bend in the rest of the skin. After that you can simply run this tool around the remainder of the door and get a nice tight factory looking seam. If the seam isn't tight enough all you have to do is adjust the sliding pad and get it where you want it. I've now used it 5-6 times and the only negative thing I can say is there are some areas that this tool doesn't have enough surface area to actually hook the frame so you can't use it. I should have bought this tool years ago, not only does it save time, it will save you a lot of sweat. I still can't comment on the durability of the tool or how long it will last, but it feels solid and well made. If that changes I will update this review. To be quite honest even if this tool only lasted for 20 skins it still pays for itself and I would buy another. Try it out yourself, once you figure it out you won't be disappointed.

Such a time saver. Nice tight, clean crimps.
I have only gotten to use it on a couple of doors, but man does it make things so much easier. It makes the crimps, nice, tight, and even. But be careful you can make a mess with it too.

Good,not perfect,worth the money.
Been doing body work for twenty someodd years...This tool works pretty good with some limitations. Wont do concave curves, have to be real careful on convex areas. Not as useful inside the window openings on most newer vehicles as I had hoped. Tool needs to be shorter and maybe reversible. Overall worth the money to save your hands and arms. Saves a little time too.

Game changer
Game changer of a tool. Leaves a really nice edge on the door skins and is way better for aluminum door skins than trying to hammer and dolly them around. You definitely have to get the skin about 75% hammered over the edge before you use it, but it's that last 25% that takes the most time. Has paid for itself many times over.

Put that hammer down and ADD TO CART !! Come on, invest in yourself and your trade!!
Probably couldn't have picked a harder panel to do on my first try but worked good, MUCH better then pounding for hrs. (saves your hands too) This is a Taiwan panel on an USA tailgate shell so the skin is thicker than a factory skin but it rolled it right over. Kinda sux having to beat it over PRIOR to running the tool but that went easy pulled the trigger and never looked back !! I probably would have perfection but getting starting point requires you to use the ole hammer/dolly to give it a flat spot to start. I wish the foot had some markings so you would know where it was and where you moved it too ? I bought t spare foot just to keep in stock but being the first skin I've done in 30+ years, it'll probably be in the bag until the estate sale.
