Kenwood 019048221704 DNX575S in-Dash Multimedia Receiver with Navigation

Stereo is fantastic, everything works great. Was very easy to install, however it didn't come with idatalink connector for steering wheel control. So far I am unable to find, but very nice system.

Theis was my first experience with a Non EOM Radio Navigation Unit.(DNX5755) 1. The Touch screen that controls music either in Sequence or Suffle no longer works. 2. I also purchased a module to operate the radio from my steering wheel controls has just stopped working, 3. I now have some noise coming from the radio which I now need to have fixed. I would not recommend Kenwood Products.

I replaced my stock double din navigation/6cd changer with this product in my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500. It worked great, awesome sound and navigation. However, after install I tried to update the firmware. The firmware update failed at the SoC Image and the unit is stuck trying to update that image and restarts continuously. It is being sent back for repair and I will update the rating when it is returned. UPDATE: Unit returned updated within two weeks, radio is still awesome. Only issue is when starting my truck in cold weather I must wait for my glow plug light to extinguish before I start it and occasionally it will cause the sound to not work on the radio until I power off the truck and then start it again. I usually fix it now by shutting the radio off after it initializes then start the truck and turn the radio back on.

The head unit works great. Touch screen is sensitive like a touch phone. Bluetooth is easy to setup and very adjustable for mike placement. GPS is Garmin good. Apple car play work good. Buy a good backup camera to go with it. This is a solid multi purpose unit at a good price, $120 less than anyone else at $479.95.

After a year struggling with seeing the screen anytime before sundown, I’m going to swap it for something else. The sound from the unit is great, and Apple Car Play is reliable 90% of the time. But for my circumstances, the screen in just unacceptable. I have an open air vehicle and even with a sunshade over the top and sides of the screen, it cannot be seen during the day. Even in shade, it is barely visible. The sun has to be totally down. There are many other units out there that can be at least somewhat seen during the day without the glare this screen has.

This head unit sucks. The SD slot function stopped working after the 1st week and the sub woofer imports stop for again after the 2nd month. Amazon would not allow me to return it the seller put the blame on the manufacturer in the manufacturer is unable to be reached. of all the choices I had, I really wish I would i chose something else. I would not ever recommend this Kenwood to anybody else.

love the radio. All features and functions work as they should. Have 2 currently in my personal vehicles and install this one as my go to navigation radio for all my customers.

I love this unit. I connected it to a back up camera and the maestro interface. It went in simply enough with the adapter kit for my dash.
