Nice design, UPDATED review
Excellent design. Weather it works or not remains to be seen. I will update this review after six months. It is easy to use and convenient with no cords. I am using rechargeable batteries in it. They seem to last and last.UPDATE: after six months, I can say that it has stopped hair loss and heavy shedding. I do not see any new hair growth, but just stopping the shedding is a big deal for me. The only problem is the vibration setting has stopped vibrating but the laser works as it has since the beginning. It is not a battery problem.

I believe it works
I have been using this device for a few months now, and have noticed a substantial reduction in hair loss. Some hair re-growth may be occuring, it's a little early to state this definitively though.Although this does not put out any heat, I have noticed increased dryness in my hair. The manufacturer recommends using it on damp hair, and this will likely reduce this. For some reason, as others have pointed out as well, it will make your hair seem a little "poofier". This, along with the dryness, may not be a factor at all if your hair is cut short, or is very straight or flat in structure to begin with.Yes, I would recommend this device. It is not a sham, it does seem to be effective.

There will be some shedding and that is is a good and normal thing to happen
I am 21 I was thinning and it was becoming obvious especially when I showered or my hair was wet, bought this 4 months ago and I can say it takes awhile but it is worth it. There will be some shedding and that is is a good and normal thing to happen. Its been just 4 to 5 months since I have been using it and it did fill in or thicken my hair. If you are beginning to thin I would recommend this not so much if your bald. Start early in your thinning process so it won't become a problem later.

This didn't work, but I found a solution that worked for me!!
Ok, I don't even use this thing anymore. I'm not saying it's a scam, but I don't know what else to call it. This did ZERO to my hair, other than make it fall out even worst!! I've been using a hair loss brand for about a year, and it definitely helped my hair to stop falling out, but it wasn't really regrowing anything. So I decided to give this a try. Big mistake, my hair started to fall out again, and to makes matters worst the hair loss brand I was using didn't work as well anymore... So please beware this is not only time consuming, but it's just a red light hitting your scalp. I can't believe I fell for it, but I was desperate (like many) to improve my hair.Real fast. I'm in my 30's, still have hair, but thinning badly, and falling out noticeably worst . I've tried this cheap, alternative way, and it works for me. My hair is NOT falling out hardly at all anymore. There is defiantly volume and thickness. I'm praying that it continues to work. I've only been doing it for a month if that. If you interested here is what I'm using.Sulfur powder (on amazon) Just the regular stuff . Mix one TEASPOON, not tablespoon. Put it in a squeeze bottle (amazon). Add a cup of any oil that you choose. I had bought a lot of oils previously from amazon obviously. I personally used: Half a cup of fractured coconut oil. then mixed the rest with JoJo oil, olive oil, and sesame oil. (I had them all already) but shake it up and put in on your scalp, not hair, and leave it there all day and night. I put it on every night before bed, so by the time I wake up, my head isn't so greasy, and the smell isn't as noticeable. I honestly think Sulfur is the key, and the oils gives you head the moister and volume it needs. I do ALWAYS wear a hat, even at work, so I think that helps the process. Also I only wash my hair maybe twice a week now. (I put sulfur in my shampoo as well)Note: ALWAYS shake the mixture every time you use it. The sulfur will sink to the bottom of the bottle. So if you don't have a clear squeeze bottle you won't notice it. Yes, when you first use it, your hair will look thinner, because the oil will cling your hair. If you put too much you'll have a grease ball. and you will smell like Sulfur for a while. However, after a few days, you will notice the hair getting fuller and thicker from the oil( depending on how much hair you had to begin with) Less hair fallout! Pretty much none now for me. So I really hope this helps someone. It's cheap and has no health side affects.Sorry for the long review, but I hated wasting so much money on this junk when I knew better. I got the Sulfur ideal from reading about a Onion juice remedy people used to put on their hair. Well, I wanted a easier way, since I read that Sulfur was the key component, and I saw other people try it also. (many black women)Now looking back, I think wearing hats for years at work and home that my hair must have got really damaged, and dry. I can still remember when my hair started falling out, my scalp actually hurt, like someones been pulling my hair all day. Plus my acne went away, and that's when I started thinking my body was changing ( it was) I gained like 15 extra pounds also.Oh, I did go on a diet, and lost 10 pounds. I don't know if that also helped, but I thought I would mention it. Ok, I'm going to end this now. Good luck to everyone!

I waited for a year before I wrote my review
If you are a young adult who is suffering hair loss, it may a genetic issue and this product may not help, you may need something surgical. But if you're like me, in your late 30s early 40s and seeing some hair slowly disappear, this could be an option for you. Some reviews love this item and others say no good, here is my review. Directions say to use this 2-3 times per week, which meant every other day to me, for those days in between I used a popular shampoo and conditioner that advertise on the radio. I gave this product a year of constant use and all I really believe I did was save what I have left, I didn't lose anymore, but didn't see any growth in my bald patch. After a year I'm gonna try rogaine and if that doesn't work, I'll take a razor to my head. But I had to give this a try. I wish you the best.

I think it's working
I started using it sept 29 2012. So far I do see hair. I am using rogaine too plus taking biotin for hair and nails. I do notice more hair on the top because rogaine didn't cause that much hair to grow. I follow the instruction. Well, let me say I'm only 33 yrs old and been losing hair since. I even took propecia but I hate to see a doctor to get prescription and i notice hairmax laser don't cause any unpleasant feeling.

Stopped hair loss
This thing actually worked in stopping hair loss FOR ME. Just like any medical solution - some people get different results. As for me, I definitely noticed that less hair is falling off my scalp. Now, I am not sure if it is growing any new ones - time will tell, but for now, I can see that less or no hair falls whenever I take a shower. I did stop using it for a week and I noticed that the hair started to fall off again, so you need to maintain in using it. 15 minutes a day, every other day before I go to sleep is my schedule.
