I got this to connect my Sennheiser HD58X to my Yamaha RX-V800 receiver and it works flawlessly. I have a 2.5mm balance jack so I needed exactly this to make it work. It's awesome and it has not white noise, so now I can listen to stuff without disturbing my sleeping wife. For the price is really good and comes with this lovely leather bag to save it. Seems pretty sturdy but we'll see with time.

This is a great 4.4mm to 2.5mm balanced audio adapter. It works great and is of high quantity. I needed this to adapt my 2.5mm balanced cable of my Sennheiser HD-650 headphones to my dap. As a bonus, it came with a very nice pouch case that fits my Fiio JM21 dap perfectly. This is a great value at this price and the included case is just icing on the cake. Recommended highly!

It's important to understand this adapter simply allows you to connect a 3.5mm plug into a 4.4mm balanced socket, it doesn't convert any signals. I used this to connect headphones with a 3.5mm plug into a dongle with a 4.4mm balanced socket. All it does in this case is draw a little more power, because it makes the sound louder. There's no change to the sound quality. In order to receive a balanced signal from a socket, the headphones and cable itself have to be wired in a balanced configuration, otherwise the signal stays the same (unbalanced). Keep this stuff in mind to determine if you only need an adapter or you need to change the entire cable.

I bought this to use on my Fosi Audio K7 to drive a pair of Audi Technica ATH-M50x and it works great. Snug fit and no issues at all.

This product is very sturdy and may work with other devices, but it does not work with Panasonic cordless phones. When you plug this adapter into your Panasonic cordless headset, then plug your corded Apple earbuds into the adapter, you can hear the other party clearly. They can also hear you clearly. The problem is when the other party speaks, they hear an eco on their end. I tried different sets of earbuds and got the same results. I tried two different Panasonic cordless handsets and got the same results. I am not sure what the problem is, but it appears to me there is some sort of faulty design with this adapter for Panasonic cordless phones.

Works as intended

So had a balanced cable with 2.5mm connector and I recently purchased an IFI Zen Dac V2 and Zen Can headphone amp which both units a 4.4mm output so rather then buying a new balanced cable I decided to give this a go and it works fine. Have my Sennheiser HD600 running off the balance cable with the adaptor and it sounds great. Adaptor has a good secure fit on both sides no interference or left or right channel drops. So I highly recommend this adaptor.

Good price, fantastic build quality. If you need a 4.4 adapter then this will be perfectly fine for 95% of users.

This is, so far, the best 4.4mm to 3.5mm conversion gadget I own. I have extensively used a few other 4.4-3.5 conversion wire, but this specific solid adapter delivers the best sound quality. Perhaps it's due to the lack of wire media that caused certain signal communication degradation. Highly recommended!
