Tower 8 Great product
I needed a good quality surround sound system in my living room for parties. So I bought this Tower 8 by Energy Sistem. I’m very happy with my purchase. The sound is so so powerful. The Bluetooth connectivity is the best feature. I use my smartphone to pair with it while cooking. This music tower is stylish and has got an elegant touch panel with LED display. FM also comes built in. Most of all, it looks premium and adds to the beauty of my living room, Believe me it’s wonderful. Don’t miss it.

An underrated gem!
The term "Hi-Fi" is hardly used in the AV world nowadays - having been abused to death by manufacturers in marketing everything from cheap stereo systems to boomboxes since the 90s - and rarely does something in the budget category of speakers really live up to what "Hi-Fi" stood for, i.e. High Fidelity. While this 3rd generation Tower 8 speaker from Energy Sistem (after the Tower 3 and Tower 5) in it's G2 avatar is very obviously designed to be loud, and deliver room-filling sound for parties, it is a relief to see that this "loudness" is not delivered at the cost of fidelity. Thanks a dedicated tweeter, two mid-to-full-range drivers, and a dedicated subwoofer, everything from highs to mids to lows are delivered with reasonably good clarity, and decent channel separation. Instruments are clear and don't sound crowded across the spectrum, and more importantly never drown the vocals - as seen in many cheaper towers.Bass is always hefty - though given the fact that this has a side-firing 6.5" woofer - the placement of the speaker, especially what's adjacent to it in the room on it's left - will play a role in determining if the bass comes comes across as subtle or overwhelming. In my case, given the restrictions on placements (with a book shelf right next to it on it's left), I had to dial down the bass to the 3 o'clock position (25%) for my comfort. However, despite the strong LFE (bass) performance, it never drowns the mids (vocals) or highs (instruments), and therein lies the quality of how well this unit has been engineered.Of course, given the single tower design, the sound stage is rather slim, and you will sorely miss true stereo sound, and I could only wonder how a pair of these would sound - as has been so aptly said in a review on slinkystudio.infoWhile in theory, it is possible to pair these by buying another unit, and hooking them up a via RCA/stereo cable, I don't think it would deliver the stereo separation that we crave for, and would just serve to make the system 2X louder.Coming to fidelity (clarity), the Bluetooth performance of this is surprisingly good, and it is evident that the DSP has been tuned to handle relatively low-quality audio streamed through Bluetooth. In fact, I found the clarity on Bluetooth to be much superior to that of another budget tower speaker pair - the Blaupunkt TS-100 - another underrated, VFM gem.Of course, performance on Bluetooth is never as good as that of a good quality audio signal given via the SPDIF/Optical cable, but is still better than most budget tower speakers. I hooked it up to a dedicated CD player via Optical/SPDIF, and so evident was the improvement in sonic quality that I sorely missed the presence of another channel/speaker to deliver true stereophonic sound! On SPDIF/Optical, it defaults to a "Flat" sound signature, remaining true to reproducing all frequencies as they were originally recorded in the studio; though one can always tweak the sound signature using the Bass/Treble control knobs at the rear of the unit.Design is classy and minimalistic, especially in the matt black finish. Build quality is excellent, and it definitely doesn't feel cheap, as is evident from the heft of the speaker. However, a word of caution here regarding the exposed paper cones of the front drivers. While it looks really classy, and adds to the retro charm of this speaker system, the lack of any protective metal grille means that you'll have to be careful about children poking a pencil into them and damaging them! Also, one gripe I have is the lack of Bass/Treble controls on the remote, which means that one has to get up and turn the knobs on the rear panel to adjust bass & treble. You'll have to do it often since this comes with an analog equalizer, and doesn't have any preset sound signatures like Music, Movies, Flat etc.On the whole, a very well engineered package, though I sorely wish they had launched this in a classic 2.1-channel/2-tower pair configuration to deliver true stereophonic sound - at perhaps 1.5X the price of this?

Worth the money
Sound quality is good, bass too is good. I got it during the sale for 9999.its worth the money moreover its french brand. The only this i dislike was there was no any side handle to hold this tall tower speaker. Its difficult to hold without any handle or grip in the towe. Over all finishing is good

Enjoying my purchase
I got the speaker for 12949 after Being discounted and receiving a cashback. I picked up the tower 8 g2 for 2 main reasons : 1, I wanted something in wood finish to match my furniture. 2, I didn't want to deal with too may wires.I must say the wood finish isn't too great, it looks like laminate on plywood. This doesn't help with blending in with the furniture and makes it stand out. I feel The black might have been a better colour choice, in retrospect. The sound quality is good and the tower is easy to move around without balancing too many other components. Overall good value for money spent

Simply fabulous
Our entire family did not even bother to switch on the TV... I just hope it works like this for long.If bluetooth is not working, it means tower is connected to another device. Also, wish there were some handles on the sides to hold the tower....
