Amazon Brand – Rivet Villain Mid-Century Modern Leather Metal Leg Accent Lounge Chair, 37.4"W, Black

I bought this chair without the aid of any previous reviews. I took a chance based on the photos, description, and reviews of other Rivet products. I'm glad that I took the leap. The Rivet Villian is very comfortable, attractive and wide. The sitting position is great for reading, working on a laptop, TV watching and relaxing. The wide padded arms rest at a nice height and work well for draping your leg over if you want to get really comfy. The leather is supple and easy to clean. The construction feels solid and the frame holds my 6" 1', 218 pounds without any problem. The pleated design could have been designed a little better (it's not perfectly straight) but it's not a deal breaker. Overall I'm pretty pleased with this chair and have not sat in any other chair in my living room since receiving it. I'll check back in with a follow up review in a few months.Purchased this in 2018. Still looks and feels good. Me and my dog's favorite chair in the house.

Very stylish. Sturdy with good quality leather. But ultimately I returned it because it wasn’t comfortable enough to lounge in.I will add that Amazon’s delivery service was awesome. It arrived on time in the 5 day and delivery window estimate. The delivery service unpacked it, placed it right where I wanted it, and cleared away all the packing.

The chair is actually really comfortable and the seating angle is great for attentive sitting or relaxation. The 3D "See in your Room" feature was spot on for sizing and looks. Others have commented on lumbar support, but I find this chair comfortable without a lumbar throw pillow. The chair came fully assembled which was refreshing considering other online furniture I've bought from Amazon requiring assembly. The reason for 4 stars is that I have serious concerns regarding the quality of leather used for the seat cushion and backrest. It is very thin and certainly not Italian or alinine leather. The thin leather does contribute to the plushness of the cushioning and feels broken in. What is also concerning is that the "leather" that is used under the armrests and around the back is much thicker "leather" which begs the question why the thicker leather wasn't used for the seat cushion and backrest instead. I'm assuming the thicker surrounding leather may not be leather. Also, the pleated look is very unqiue and gives the chair Villain Vibes, but there's a singular thread holding the pleated leather in place. I feel like these singular threads will loosen or fail in due time. While I plan to use the chair sparingly and for occasional sitting, if you have animals who enjoy romping on your furniture or are planning to use this chair as your daily driver, please note this chair will not last.

bought for $500 and returned itit is designed way too “thin”, no cushions :(at same time it takes lots of space and way too heavy for this slim designshould be less than $500

It was beautiful: great leather, great fit and finish, every bit as sexy as it looked on the site. The only problem was that I couldn't get comfortable in it. IF I would sit ramrod straight, it was comfortable--even if I wasn't. I'm a sloucher, and this chair would not tolerate any slouching. So, alas, I had to return it. But if you are going to use it for decorating, i.e., sit in it only a handful of times a year for company or whatever, then I would recommend it without qualification. It is beautiful!

I didn't buy it for comfort rather to add stylish seating to my living area. It's comfortable for me, but I like sturdier seating for my back issues. It does need a lumbar pillow. I'm only 5'2", and I can easily rest my head on the back. With an ottoman, I can see this being very comfortable with my feet raised and a lumbar pillow. Someone taller may have to scoot down in the chair to rest their head, but it doesn't seem the chair for that. It serves the purpose for which I purchased it, and it looks great. It arrived quickly after ordering, fully assembled. I wish the legs were more stylish instead of looking like a kindergarten chair bottom, but since it's not that noticeable I don't mind. I highly recommend it.

I love, love, love this chair.We prefer modern furniture and kept looking for something mid century at the thrift store, used. I could only handle the disappointment 2-3 times and when this was on sale I justified it and now it's in the awkward corner that's too small for a table, but just right for after work catch ups with the bf our friends. The kitchen is very 1950's and in a room, not open to other social areas.Also, we are heavier set people and modern furniture is not always built for sturdiness, especially when you rely on online information.This is well made, fully assembled, leather is beautiful and design, lovely.

Negatives:- The chair is very stiff feeling and needs some breaking in.- The leather, while real, is not soft.Positives:- Very sturdy- Actually sitting in it is very comfortable in terms of ergonomics- If you are a big guy, this is your chair. It is very large- Comes preassembled- Looks just like the pics- Try finding a more affordable real leather accent chair. I dare you
