This pillow is awesome! I love the colors. I agree with previous reviews. It just needs a small amount of air; and with that, you can feel the memory foam-like cushion inside. I thought it would be too small, the foam would be cheap and it would have a weird cheap plastic feel to it. On the contrary, it has a slightly textured feel to the outside. It feels like it is made well. The cushion is more like memory foam. And it is just the right size. If you have a large head, it might be too small. It is Very durable. Packs small. Easy to clean! I had to sleep on this for about 2 months and slept great every night!

I thought the pillow was a good product, but after using it a few days at the beach, it has started losing air. Am disappointed, but hopeful the company will review this problem to ensure others don't experience it.

Bought this pillow for my first week long supported cycling trip, and it worked great until a few days in when it started to slowly leak. I'm not sure how I may have punctured it, but since it self-inflates up to a certain point, the slow leak didn't completely deflate the pillow and I was still able to use it okay for the rest of the trip.Now you may ask why the 5 star rating? The pillow itself was definitely comfortable, colorful, and very easy to inflate and store, albeit maybe not indestructible, but it's the amazing customer service from SH online that really bumped it up there. I addressed the issue with them, and they promptly mailed me a new one that has been working great since.TL;DR Great product with greater customer service.

This is not anything close to the ultimate travel pillow1) the one I got was not self inflating - open the valve and it maybe inflates 20-25%, it came with strange hard spots / lumps in it so maybe the foam wasnt working or was bad2) in my opinion deflated its way to big to be considered a travel pillow taking up some 6' x 6" x 6"3) in order to get it anything like a pillow you need to blow it up (not to big a chore) but then its no better than a simple air pillow which cost way less and pack way smaller4) its just a plastic air pillow, I thought it had a fabric but unless plastic is a fabric it doesnt have any.5) in my opinion, way over priced. Again it's simply an in inflatable air bladder with a self inflating gimmick that may or may not work (it didn't for me)Note, I did not get a free sample from the Company so these are just my opinion.

The pillow is ok. I finally had a chance to try it while out camping. I found that the pillow was more comfortable when it wasn't inflated all the way. If I leave it to inflate by itself and refrain from blowing into it to completely fill it feels much better. The pillow is considerably bulky, so keep that in mind if you intend to use it while backpacking. I knew it might be an issue while reading the reviews, and I decided to give it a shot anyway because I'm willing to readjust things and sacrifice some space in the name of comfort and good quality rest.The first night I used the pillow I put it inside my sleeping bag (it's too big to fit in the pillow sleeve it has), and it was mostly ok. However, a few hours in noticed the material is not breathable and the side of my face that was against the pillow felt sweaty and hot. I wrapped the pillow in moisture-wicking shirt and that seemed to help. Unfortunately, the second night also happened to be the first freeze oft he season and the first thing I noticed is that the pillow was painfully cold, even with the improvised pillow case. Even after warming one side up, turning in middle of the night was quite the rude awakening. The solution was to shove the pillow between the mattress and the sleeping bag, which was a bit awkward and required some adjustment.

Really like the size and convenience of this pillow. I actually bought it to use on the plane. I like that it is not just filled with air. My only suggestion would be to get a pillowcase as the polyester material is not very pleasant against your face if you like to lay on your side. It can get a bit sweaty/sticky. I wrapped a shirt around mine and it was much more comfortable.

I favor a memory foam pillow with a cool gel cover and really didn't want to load the van with large pillows on an upcoming road trip. I purchased this very compact pillow for the trip and tested it last night for the first time. I have been carrying it in my bag with my computer accessories in my insulated cooler bag. I was very pleasantly surprised how well I slept on this the first night and think it will work better against the rear lift gate than my memory foam pillow.UPDATE 08/06/2015:I woke up an hour in to my sleep looking for my pillow and found it under my head...mostly deflated. I re-inflated it and found it still to be leaking air and now is unusable.UPDATE 09/15/2015:Thanks to their superior customer service, my pillow has been replaced. I've used it now for almost two weeks with no problem with leakage. I had my husband try it over the weekend to see if he likes it and it looks like I'll be ordering a second one for our road trip. This is a well made pillow that is one of the larger travel pillows. It inflates easily and is comfortable to use. It has a slight indentation in the center to provide a natural resting place for your head. It auto-inflates, but you can manually add air for greater firmness. It may be obvious, but using a pillow case makes it a bit more comfortable against the skin. It would be a nice addition if they offered a pillowcase that was the right size. Absent that we use a standard flannel pillow case to soften the feel. Overall it's a nice product that seems to be made well enough to use for quite a while.
