Description
- NOTE: This photo is a representative example; every pair of scales we sell is an one of a kind item. The streaked pattern varies per individual piece.
- Dyed green water buffalo knife handle scales imported from India. NOTE ON COLOR: The dye only penetrates about 3/32" deep into the piece. We suggest you sand from the side that will go next to the tang, to preserve as much outer green as possible.
- As a very dense, organic knife handle material, some horn may come slightly warped. This can be fixed by heating in an oven at 200 degrees F (100C), and clamping in a vise until cool. DO NOT BOIL the dyed horn, as the dye can leech out.
- Sold as a pair. Each is approximately 5" x 1-1/2" x 3/8". As an organic material slight differences in shape and appearance are normal.
- NOTE ON SHIPPING: All orders are shipped USPS Priority Mail (1-3 business day delivery) with a tracking number. If you order more than one item from us, automatically combines shipping by weight, saving you money.
