Helpful in the maintenance of my older AC
My AC maintenance company recommended these for my older carrier units. They advised that they help go a long way in reducing the bacteria buildup and the pinkish color gunk that can come out of AC units. I’ve been using these for a year and had no problems and continue to use them as I have my units meet maintenance and serviced. I would recommend you consulting with your service provider for your individual unit but for mine they’ve worked great.

It Works!
Live in Florida where clogged drains are common. I was in the HVAC trade my entire working life and recommend these 100%. I cut it into 3 pieces and use one piece every 6 months. Haven't had a clogged drain in over 6 years. Worth everypenny.

They did the trick in my 15 year old evaporator coil cabinet.
I have an old unit that started leaking and had mold and algae. Once it was cleaned a little, I placed the pan strip in the bottom and things have been much better. Worth the money.

Item is fir anti corrosion and prevention of drain from pan blockage. Unit should operate without drain blockage and collection of corrosion product in pan. Operation and post 6 month inspection will judge performance.

Saves $$$ on repairs
I live in a suburb of New Orleans where it is very hot and humid, and every year I had to have an AC man come to blow out the algae and then I would have to paint the stained ceilings. Because of these, I did not have that problem last summer. The AC man came recently for the annual inspection/cleaning and was as impressed with this product as I am. Needless to say, I had new ones ready for him to put in again this year.
