Would these work on chocolate candy melts ?

I think they would. They are very good writers and have double tips which makes it really nice if you do calligraphy or the smaller end to do finer writing. I really like these and they have lasted me a long time without drying out.

If you were to draw on a person with these would it taste good and wash off?

They don't really taste like anything and they don't stay on skin very well

Do these work on sandwich bread?

Not really. They are intended to decorate hard surfaces, e.g. royal icing or very crisp cookies. If the bread is toasted you might be able to use but I wouldn't recommend it.
