The hardware is made of punched aluminum painted non-reflective black, and is unlikely to ever break. The strapping will wear out first. The non-slip elastomer on the strapping is quite effective. It feels like Urethane rubber. Added later: The adjustment buckle creeps during use,causing the belt to loosen. It would be helpful if that buckle were modified to greatly reduce creeping.

Only used once, so I can't make any statements about durability, but it worked as advertised. It took a few mins to dial in the tightness of the strap, but once I put it on, and then put my suit pants on, it did not seem bulky at all and I do not think that it could be seen that I was wearing an extra item. It put it so that it would be held in place by the belt for my pants, and it was comfortable. After a while, I forgot I was wearing it, but I definitely liked that I was not retucking my shirt all night. For what it's worth, I do not think that this would work well with a shirt that is not meant to be tucked in, so make sure that you have a short that is cut long enough for standard tucking. Also, I wear my suit pants at a regular rise. If you have a low rise cut to the pants you're using this with, I am not sure it would be comfortable.

This little gem is a must have to prevent your shirts riding up! I have bought this over 2 years ago, and it's still going strong. The simplicity is genius.

I have bought two of these over the past 2 years. They work great for the first couple of months and then the sticky tape starts to peel off. After a year, you will have no more stickiness. However, while it is there, it is awesome and keeps your shirt/uniform nice and tucked. It is not too thick but is made of good quality material.

Perfect. I use it every day i got to the office. That used to be 5 days a week. This shirt say is better than the shirt stays the clip on to the bottom of the shirt. Those damage your shirts. This one will not. It holds my shirts down. It’s not terribly uncomfortable. The only issue is the hook does not always fit my last or second to last button. I’m my opinion, you don’t need it to fit over your buttons I just tie it around my waist under my belt line. Works perfect that way. I will for sure buy it again.

Doesn't work. Cinched it down as tight as I could and every time I got in and out of a chair my shirt popped out. Junk!

I’ve had two of these. The first one seemed significantly more comfortable. The second one, I made it about halfway through the shift and it became very uncomfortable with cutting into my side so I’m not sure. They definitely keep you short tucked in but at the cost of comfort. Guess I’ll keep tucking my shirt in. (Gun side of duty belt).

These are genius and I don’t know how I dressed without them! Actually I do - my shirts used to give me muffin top. Such a simple solution to change your silhouette and feel much more put together.
