Great shades - kept these over the Bose!
My better half and I saw the Bose version of these glasses at Best Buy and were both intrigued. However, with a $100 or less gift rule and uncertain if he’d like them, I chose these. He cheated and got me the Bose for Christmas. We both loved our different brands of audio glasses, but I returned the Bose. Knowing how great these worked just felt like a waste to keep the Bose. (Yes, Bose has more stylish designs for sure, but I’m trying to be responsible!) To compare the two, the differences we noted are 1) These are lighter to wear - more comfortable. But the Bose are comfortable, too. 2) The Bose feel more expensive, but that probably also has to do with the weight? 3) Bose has a proprietary charging plug, whereas this one uses one you can easily replace if lost 4) This brand is easier to control than the Bose, I believe. I believe the button on the side allows you to easily answer calls, power on and off, change a song, etc. The Bose I think may have that option but it was not as intuitive for sure. But if I recall, the button was to power on/off and you used an app to control features? (I may not recall correctly but I remember having the thought of the less expensive shades being more user-friendly.) 5) Both shades hold plenty of power charge. My hubs wears his all day talking on the phone driving around and no issues. Has run after work with them on and still has a charge to listen to music. 6) SOUND - both sound great. Very clear audio/voice calls and music sounds good. Compared side by side, Bose naturally edges out this pair, but it’s really not a huge noticeable difference to justify the cost. Honestly, it’s minor and we noticed it most playing Led Zeppelin. You can easily talk to others in person while the music is playing. You can also hear your surroundings which is great for safety. NO, others cannot hear your calls or music. Maybe if they’re right up on you giving you a hug but 2-3 feet away in the car I can’t hear the other person on the phone talking nor his music. Same with Bose. My final thoughts are 1) No, you don’t need these but you will quickly love them. So convenient and more comfortable than an ear piece. 2) If you’re worried about using the Bose enough to justify the cost increase or just losing them, get these. In both our opinions, the Bose are only worth it if you simply want a more chic and stylish looking pair of shades and just want to say you have Bose sunglasses. Purchase these with confidence!

It's not perfect, but I love it and worth the price.
I replaced the lenses with blue light filter for indoor usage and at work. Here are my pros and cons after 2 weeks of using them: Pros: 1. Sound quality is good enough, but dont expect earphones quality. I find they are quite comparable to the bose sunglasses. 2. Battery life around 3-4 hours. 3. Stylish looking and comfortable to wear. 4. Other reviewers mentioned about the blue light blinking on the side of the glasses, I dont see it at all. Unless mine is the improved version? 5. Sound is loud if you blast it all the way. Perhaps louder than bose's. 6. The bluetooth sync very fast to your device. 7. Nice packaging. Cons: 1. Not bone conduction. 2. Can hardly hear the music in a noisy environment - street, train or etc. Thus, I converted for indoor use. 3. Turn on and off notifications are quite loud despite your volume settings. Overall, Im pretty happy with the purchase and so far so good ! I hope the built quality is good and last long.

Great glasses!
I really like these sunglasses! I was worried that they might feel too heavy but they actually are very light. Earbuds always hurt my ears so I love that I can listen to music through my glasses. It’s very easy to connect to my phone, and it works from quite a ways away. I took my garbage out to the road and left my phone In the house and it worked perfectly from that far away. The sound quality is not amazing when you have the volume turned up loud. At a normal level, the quality is pretty good! I love that they are polarized as well. I am overall happy with these.

Audio is very poor. Nice looking glasses. Adjusted from 3 stars to 1
Love the way they look and feel, BUT the audio quality is very poor. There is a major design flaw. The speakers face down instead of towards your ear. Everyone around you can hear what you are listening to and everything sounds distorted. Bose audio glasses are much much better for quality of sound. If I could take BOSE audio quality and the style of these, it'd be perfect. Edit: Unfortunately, the battery on these glasses does not hold a charge anymore. They turn on for 1 second after taking them off of the charger. I contacted Inventiv because the glasses are under warranty for 1 year after the purchase date. I bought these in August of last year and contacted them at the end of July. I was replied back asking for my order number, which was provided, then...nothing. Follow up email sent....no reply. I believe they are waiting until the warranty expires to then say it is not covered. Unfortunate and unacceptable from this company.

Great glasses. OK sound.
I love everything about these sunglasses except the sound quality which is only OK. They look great, they're affordable, they are comfortable, the pair easily to my phone, they have an easily accessible micro usb charging cable and they come in a great case with a clip to hang them from your backpack or belt loop. Unfortunately, the sound is not that great and it's easily heard by anyone close to you. I had the Bose Frames sunglasses also. The sound is vastly superior to these, but those glasses are not comfortable, they use a special magnetic charging cable, the lenses are not very dark (and they're not polarized) and they cost $130 more! I decided to keep these glasses instead. The sound is OK as long as you don't compare it side by side to the Bose and these glasses are better in every other then the much more expensive Bose Frames.

Awesome shades!
These sunglasses are really cool. The sound is surprisingly good & they’re a refreshing alternative to wearing earbuds on an outdoor jog. They work exactly as advertised: iOS/Android Bluetooth compatible (I pair mine w/ my iPhone), 30 foot Bluetooth range (accurate), Smart Assistant Voice Command (can press one button on the sunglasses and request anything you need from Siri)... The volume is controlled through your connected device rather than the sunglasses, however you can use voice command on the sunglasses and say “turn volume to max” if your phone is sitting 30 feet away and the sunglasses will adjust—good if you’re in the pool and don’t want to get out. You can listen to music, make phone calls, etc with these. The only minor drawback I’ve noticed is the blue pairing light on the inside of the right arm is a little too far forward. Every now and then you’ll notice a blue light flash out of the corner of your eye if there’s some momentary cloud cover. You would rarely notice it in sunny conditions.

Disappointed with the audio quality
I was looking forward to these glasses and was quite impressed by many of the reviews, so I felt pretty good about my purchase. But after receiving this and pairing with my phone, I found the audio quality quite horrible. The pairing process was easy. The glasses fit fine and looked as good as any glasses you would purchase off a rack in a store. But the sound was like having a mini speaker by your ears, which is essentially what it is. The sound coming from these speakers on the glasses could be heard by anyone within earshot; and as far as hands-free calls, forget about privacy. So overall... not impressed by the product. If what I was looking for was a pair of stylish glasses - fine. But not as a pair of headphones to enjoy my music or take any calls. My recommendation... save the money if you are looking for a pair of glasses to hear music, as there are more superior products out there. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Fantastic quality and sound!
I’m so happy with my sunglasses! The directions are very clear and they are so easy to use. The sound is So clear and easy to hear! Everyone I call using my sunglasses cannot believe how well they are able to hear me and that I’m actually talking to them via my shades! I have also used them while listening to music while running outside. SO convent! And to top it off they are comfortable and cute! Fantastic product and I would HIGHLY recommend!

Sound and battery life awful
I REALLY wanted to love these glasses but unfortunately they have come nowhere near my expectations. Firstly the good: They look great, are lightweight and fit perfectly. But now the bad..... Sound quality is poor. Very ‘tinny’ and thin. However the ‘low battery’ warning is VERY loud and VERY distracting- especially as it occurs frequently after the first announcement. Battery life on the set I have is truly awful. 15-20 mins max. And that’s after full charge. This is my second pair and the first wouldn’t charge at all after the first use. So, the glasses are just that - sunglasses. I have a set of BOSE frames which have amazing sound and decent charge life to them but fit terribly. If I could combine the two I’d have a superb set of audio glasses but at the moment I have neither that are fit for purpose.
