Doesn't work that well

This Cell Phone Signal Booster Antenna for Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile - Truck & Car Mount Passive Repeater does not boost signal at all. I can not tell any difference on my signal on my cell reception. I personally would not recommend. But I cannot return because it is stuck hard on my car. That is one thing is that is good.

DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. I drive around in a truck on a commercial solar field where the service is poor to begin with. While inside the truck, my phone practically has zero service (SOS mode only), but cracking the window and holding my phone out instantly gets me a real signal. I bought this and mounted it on the windshield just above the steering wheel hoping it would function the same way without having to hold my phone out the window. Real cell boosters cost hundreds of dollars, so for the price I figured it was worth a shot especially given my very specifically tested situation. Unfortunately though it is complete garbage. Don’t waste your money.

So, if you want to know exactly how well this works... I have a little 8' by 12' cabin out in the deep woods that gets absolutely no signal inside the cabin when the door is closed. However, just outside of the cabin on all directions there is just 2 bars on my phone. I placed this antenna exactly how directed in a window (high enough for the window to still open in the summertime) and now, when the door is closed, I consistantly get exactly 1 bar inside the cabin. For me, this is a real relief because it is enough make calls, receive calls, I even watch movies on my phone. I do not have electricity out at the cabin, so it was so nice to have such an affordable solultion that didn't require batteries or electricty. But you should know that it carries the signal in at one bar less than it is outside. It is not a booster. It's more like a bridge when you can't get a signal past a wall.

I don't know what problems these other people are experiencing, but this thing works great! It was easy to install and I immediately noticed a difference. FYI, the package specifically states that it's not for home use, but works great in the car. Also, if there's no signal, there's nothing to amplify, so nothing will happen and you'll be disappointed. I used to hardly get any signal in certain areas and would miss important things and not be able to complete my job until I drove somewhere that I could get a signal. That's all over and now everywhere I go, I can do whatever I need to and I always seem to have service now. Bottom line, this thing was cheap and easy and solved my issue of constantly going to mountainous, wooded areas and expecting my phone to work. If there's any signal to be had, you'll get it. Just don't try to put it in the house. It's for your car.

Don't buy - doesn't work. Product does not work but actually makes the signal much worse in vehicles. We tried testing this for a week, and found out finally why our signal was so bad. I can't find the packaging so I guess I'm out the money. Update: received message saying that the item does not have to be returned in packaging. That response was good.
