Dakota Grizzly Men's Turner Herringbone Flannel

This was my second flannel shirt from DG. These shirts are not as heavyweight as I prefer (thus, 4-stars), but they are better than lightweights. I'm usually a medium (155 lbs. 5'8", broad in the shoulders, narrow at the hips), but because flannel tends to shrink when washed, I ordered these in large. Surprise!... they hardly shrink at all. Yet, they are not so large that I can't wear them; the arms and shirt length are right for me and they aren't too large in the shoulders. Indeed, they fit me rather like a slightly "relaxed fit" medium sized shirt. DC flannel shirts are pretty pricey at the stores that I've seen them in, but this shirt, on sale here, was a relatively good deal.

A bit heavier than expected. I mean I know it's flannel right, but I will definitely mostly use this for hiking and camping outdoors in the fall and spring. Not as piece of rugged casual wear for the office. It will just be too hot I'm sure. But, it's beautiful, well crafted, and tough.

This is my favorite shirt. It's warm, nice looking, it's soft, I love the earth-tone colors, it's priced reasonably. My only gripe is it's snug. I'm an XL, and I feel if I had ordered one size larger it would be a lot more comfortable. I still wear it. Though, I wouldn't dare dry it in a dryer.

I like the shirt, it fits as well as anything I've bought from Patagonia. The stitching is comparable to more expensive shirts though the buttons aren't sewn on as robustly as I would like. All in all a very nice purchase for the price.

Nice material and well made. I read the reviews and headed advise on their sizing. I ordered one size larger. Mine fits just as I had hoped. The color is a bit more subtle than pictured. This will be in regular rotation during the cooler months of the year.

Sleeve's a tad short, not enough for me to return. Used to this with go go gadget length arms. Acceptable though. Length good, shoulders good.

Very nice innperson, colors as expected and they stay after washed, it fits anlittle bit small as expected, but still a keeper for my husband, it will probably encourage him to diet lol

I was hoping for an athletic fit... I hate baggy shirts. This was perfect. Great for when tucked in, but if you wear yours on the outside with a t-shirt ... Which I do from time to time like a light jacket, you might want to go a size up. Very comfortable.
