I bought this product a while ago, and its just sitting in a corner of the garage. Why? Dont get me wrong, but the product has a good quality. The issue I have with it is that it does not fit all of the car rims due to the conical chape it has. It is sometimes difficult to clean between the rims spokes, due to how thin the end is. However, if it does acomodate your vehicle, rest assured it will not scratch the rim and is easy to clean.

This wand is an absolute godsend for cleaning the wheels on my Scion FR-S! The stock wheels are multi-spoke and as anyone with such wheel configs knows, it's a challenge to get into the nooks and crannies for cleaning.This wand has a foam core, with a thick main body that tapers to a thinner tip and wrapped in microfiber. The foam has enough give to compress and allow access deep into recesses and also into the tight spots where the spokes meet, but is still firm enough to apply buffing pressure for a great shine.Highly recommended.

I happen across these while looking for something else & they looked promising.The pros:+ Reasonably priced at $6.41, with free shipping, when I bought 2 of these.+ Metal free, heavy sponge with a microfiber cover.+ Sure grip handle+ Cone shaped, measures 1-1/2" on the end, 2-1/2" on the handle side. The cleaning area is approximately 8" long from the tip to where the handle starts.The cons:- We've used these twice now & the wide end seems to be a bit too wide for our vehicles.- The microfiber covering needs to be removed to squeeze the water out of the sponge.- The microfiber cover needs to be removed to be laundered. When I turned the cover inside out, I was surprised there's only a single row of stitching, which I'm going to say will fail shortly. The microfiber has already frayed back to the stitching. :(If these hold up, I'll consider increasing my product rating.► Update - May 25, 2014▪ Today I noticed the handle... specifically the rod that's inserted into the sponge, on one of the two I purchased is loose!? The handle has a long rod that is pressed into the sponge & is secured with glued. I pulled it off to see what going on. The rod was glued sparingly in only 2 places. The glue placed towards the end had failed. I reapplied glue to see if I could secure the handle rod back in the sponge.▪ This is VERY annoying after only 2 uses!► Update - April 7, 2015▪ These are handy, but I had one fail today! The plastic rod pushed out of end... thru the sponge to the cloth cover! This was the same wand that I tried to repair. :(▪ I still like this handy cleaning wand so I ordered 2 more. If these hold up, I might consider upping my product rating...► Update - February 18, 2016▪ These don't won't very last long... too bad, as they're VERY handy. They're fairly inexpensive, so I buy replacements to have on hand to replace the ones that are beyond repair.

I was concerned about the durability of this given other reviews, but in all honesty it works great and hasn’t shown any signs of falling apart. I use this to clean 5 spoke on my BMW. I spray wheel cleaner on both rim and the brush and go to work. Rinse clean between wheels. I can get the most of the inside of the wheel except for in between the brake calipers. As long as you aren’t a brute Neanderthal when using it, it shouldn’t break or fall apart. Take your time and use a good wheel cleaner like Meguirs Hot Rims for stubborn brake dust

Love it. I searched in person and online for a brush that would fit my needs, and this one is perfect. Its extremely absorbent and easy to work with and clean. It fits perfectly between the spokes of my Mazda's 20" black wheels so I can keep the inner wheel nice and shiny clean rather than coated in brown brake dust.

Still not what I was looking for. It’s not thin enough to get between the barrel and the caliper. Also the handle should be longer.
