This dress is soft material that feels nice to wear it, and it has pockets. I wouldn't put anything heavy in the pockets for more than a couple minutes because it will pull down and make the dress look wonky. But for a tissue or a lip balm or business cards at a work event, the pockets are perfect. I thought polka dot pattern and narrow elastic at the waist looked a little plain without a belt. I found a somewhat wide belt to wear around the waist and it made the whole thing look much cuter and more flattering. The mauve color was not see through for me. But I wore nude colored bra and jockey shorts (to prevent chafing). If you wore colored or patterned underwear it might show through. I like the length, I'm 5'7" and it comes just below my knee. Perfectly modest for wearing to office events or church. I wish there was more colors and patterns to choose from because it's affordable and easy to wear and feel cute without thinking too hard about my outfit. I've washed it twice already and had no issues with shrinking or seams coming apart. My one complaint is the sizing chart, you will probably have to size up a little from what you normally buy in American stores. I am 185 lbs and based on my measurements and the chart, I ordered the XL size. It fit fine but the tag inside the dress says 16-18 which is way off from what a typical size 16 or 18 would be in the USA. I would say this fits like a size 14 at a typical American brand such as Old Navy or Walmart. The size chart was accurate, but don't be alarmed if the chart recommends getting a size or two bigger than you normally would.

I was very pleased with the fit and the quality of the fabric...feels well-made and is comfortable. The only other thing I would say is that the color is more purple than on light blue. Update: fabric doesn't breathe well in hot weather (I live in the South and it's still really hot here) Measurement: I'm 164 lbs, 36D and a medium fit great

I’m a sucker for a wide blue-and-white stripe, so I was sold even before the dress arrived. The description said blue and IVORY (which I didn’t want), not my preferred blue and white; I almost didn’t order it because of that but took a chance because those stripes really did look white in the photos. The dress is true to size. I am 5’7” and 145 and the M fits well. It hits less than 2” below my knee, so it’s long enough to be modest in a breeze and short enough to be cool. I think, but am not absolutely sure, that the fabric is substantial enough I don’t need a slip. I will plan on wearing neutral undergarments. The stripes are matched on the skirt but not on the bodice which is a disappointment. I haven’t worn it on a really hot day yet but it looks really beachy and cool. I am long waisted and the elastic waist just barely comes down low enough. (It seems a lot of garments made overseas have that issue. A lot of reviewers comment the elastic in their dress falls between a traditional waist and a low empire waist.) I may add a straw belt and hat…or perhaps a red belt and matching sandals. It’s a very versatile dress which can be dressed up or down with accessories. I really, really like it!

Boy, this dress has been unavailable for a long time in the color I wanted. I have been watching for it for a while. When it finally said it would be restocked by a certain date, I decided to order it. This dress was pretty and had a nice shape to it. The colors in person seemed to be the same as online. Love the pockets, of course! The material was soft, comfortable, and stretchy. It did seem a bit sheer, so depending on your undergarments, you may need to wear a light slip to hide underwear/bra lines. I purchased a large in wine red, which seemed to fit pretty well. I am 5'2" and it came to about mid-calf, which is what I expected. Shorter people just expect everything to hit a bit lower than on the model. Unfortunately, I returned the dress. The elastic waistline was a bit tighter and gathered than it seemed in the pictures, especially on the size 2 model (or whatever she is) where it isn't even touching her body. For a person with a wider waistline and a tummy, it isn't the most flattering style. The elastic waist doesn't stay in place, especially when sitting. It rides up under the bust line and accentuates the tummy. If I switched to the next size up, it would be too baggy. I was looking for something loose and casual with pockets. So I returned this one and will keep looking for something that meets my expectations.

I really love this dress! Perfect length hits just over my knee cap, I'm about 175 and 5 ft 8. I got the black and white striped one, the cut accentuates my waist and hourglass shape and of course the pockets are great. So easy to throw on and style with flats, sandals, a denim jacket or cardigan. Now I'm going to order in more colors. The material is soft and very comfortable too. I like to wear boy shorts or thin bicycle shorts under my dresses and that's what I wear under this dress, snatches everything and keeps thighs from rubbing together

I bought this for a casual dress that could be worn on many occasions. It is SO COMFORTABLE AND SO SOFT! I'm wearing it right now and don't want to take it off! Fits perfectly too. It hangs nicely and hides those little muffin top bulges so well! Very slenderizing too. it lays loosely over my knees when I'm sitting, which I like because I'm not fighting that upper leg "peek-a-boo", which can be unattractive. Love the side pockets! You could dance, ride a bike or sit in church in this dress. Best find ever!

I thought this would be a great travel dress especially for a 14-hour flight. I liked that it had pockets, and the style looked loose and comfy. But the fabric felt like the plastic it's made from, and was thin and lightweight without any body or crispness whatsoever. It also smelled so badly like chemicals that I didn't actually try it on but held it up against my body to see if it would fit. It looked super big, and hung like a wet rag. Nope. Cheap price here was definitely cheap product.

I like the dress, I’m 6’0 & typically a size 8. It’s not too tight around the waist but I was looking for more of a midi dress and this is knee length (at least for tall girls!) material is not thick but that should mean I can wear it without being too hot in the summer!
