"Are these artist grade pastels?

Hi Ipek, Thank you for posting your question! The product level of our products are for amateur painters. The quality is good for beginners. If you have further questions, you could also send them to customerservice@myartistopia.com. Best regards, Colour Block Support Team

Will they change color if i spray a coat of clear lacquer over it

I disagree with the common internet belief that most professionals do not spray fixative on their work. You have to learn how to make it work for you and the masters have been using fixative one type of another for a very very long time. Not everything has to be framed and on paper, don’t let other artist limit your creativity.

Are the pastels individually labelled?

Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to let us know your query. :) The names of all the colors can be easily found at the back of the packaging box. If you have other questions, please feel free to send us an email at customerservice@myartistopia.com. Thank you! Kind regards, Colour Block

Who makes Colour Block soft pastels and where are they made?

I don’t know the answer to your specific question, but maybe this will help. This has been my second purchase of a set of soft pastels. The first was a more expensive set by a manufacturer beginning with an “R”. They are by no means the most expensive, which I think is French. But they were softer, a quality that really mattered to me.
