Can I sleep on it after I turn over on my side?

I think you could if it's in the middle of the bed, but NOT ON EDGE OF BED! It could make you slide off if your very sleepy especially. I use mine in my car to get in and out and it's very helpful.

Can this be used to affix to the bottom of a very heavy car organizer so it can be slid around to move instead of lifted ?

Could anyone comment on if it would become uncomfortable sitting on it on a long drive?

This is nothing more than a pice of silk like material stitched together and the ends to form a tube open at both ends. The thickness is approximately 3/32 of an inch thick when laid flat. When the person sits on it, they can slide easily from side to side or back and forth to aid getting into or out of a sitting position.
