I bought the lavender and green Romand stains last year, and I love them, but I wished there was a black option. It was so worth it. At first, I was disappointed, because the color payoff seemed terrible, but I had used a lip treatment that day, and my lips still had the freshly applied balm feeling to them. When I tried it again over bare lips without any pre-use balm, the stain went on beautifully. The black shade appears to be neutral, not pulling brown, blue, or green on me, and the result is a perfect transparent dusty mauve to dusty purple on the lip depending on how much is applied. Love it.

Color is beautiful, but IT IS NOT A TINT. I wanted to have something really long lasting to use below my black lipstick, right in the middle of my lips, and this def didn't do the trick.

These Romand lip stains are aoft, not sticky, and the colors have incredible staying power. Light, fruity scent, with a masterful moisturizing formula.

I got them trying to find a sheer black lipgloss and this leans more gray for my skintone. I have a red undertone and it leans more grayish. I still love it but it's not a sheer black lipgloss.

The size is really small, but I wanted to try it because I know using opposite colors can help cancel out purple tones in lips. The shade does slightly help tone down my purple color, but the staying power is pretty weak and the pigmentation is not as strong as I expected. It gives a subtle tint, but I need to reapply often. It's okay for a light everyday look, but I probably wouldn't repurchase.

I bought this hoping it would be similar to the TirTir lip tints (i.e. a glossy stain), to wear under a sheer black lip oil i have. First, It is not a stain in any way. I applied multiple layers and let it sit for a while and could not build up the color. The more I applied, the more it just kind of moved around on my lips. When I wiped it off, there was zero color left behind. Second, it’s gray, not black. So I guess if you want a sheer, dark gray lip gloss, this is fine. But if you’re expecting a stain or a rich black color, this will probably disappoint.

Compré este tinte “larga duración” esperando buenos resultados, pero sinceramente fue una decepción. No cumplió con lo que promete en cuanto a duración ni cobertura. El color se fue muy rápido y el resultado no fue uniforme. No lo recomiendo.
