Global Knives - 8" Chef's Knife (G-2) with 220/GB Knife Sharpener

This knife is absolutely amazing! It’s super sharp, well-balanced, and feels great in the hand. It cuts effortlessly and makes prep work so much easier. I’m really impressed with the quality!

I heard about this brand in Anthony Bourdain's book Kitchen Confidential (great book by the way). My spouse had been complaining about dull knives. I bought her this. SHE LOVES IT. Her only complaint, if you can call it one, is the knife is so sharp it cuts in to cutting board. I especially loved this purchase because it came with a sharpener that's very easy to use.

Just got it out of the box and diced an overripe tomato. This knife is amazing - like no other I’ve used. I was debating buying Global or Henkel. This knife leaves Henkel in the dirt.

If you get the Knife sharpener combo just throw the sharpener out. Please you will thank me later. get a diamond plate to keep your knives sharp. all that thing will do is tear it up. the knife is amazing, you really can't beat the quality for the price

These are the best knives. Hands down. They cleanly and easily slice through tomatoes, raw meat, etc and make cooking a joy again! We registered for a set of high end Wustoff knives that quickly dulled (despite sharpening and honing) and have replaced them all with these Global knives! Get the sharpening tool too- keeps them nice and sharp!

Knife edge has chips, scratches from using the knife sharpener, and has developed rust spots. Been using this for the last couple years amongst other knives that I’ve had for over a decade—none of which have these issues. Probably not the best quality and hardiness of steel.

Awesome knife.. so so sharp! Glides through anything I put in front of it without any effort from my arms. The weight of the knife does the majority of the work, just what you want. I’ve not used the stone water sharpener as of yet but looks quality also.

Best knives out there. Sharpener is a must to keep them super sharp. Purchased for my parents who love it, we also have some of our own. Who needs 5 knives when you can have one or two super sharp amazing ones like these 😁

It is a pleasure to cut with this knife, a very good all rounder. The blade is so thin and fine it makes cutting anything a glide. The handle is non-slip and easy to grasp. I would thoroughly recommend it.

I love knives and I bought a Japanese knife from Kappabashi Dori when i was in Japan, this one is even sharper and its very good value with the sharpener included in price, love the water sharpener just draw it 7 times on white wheel and 7 times on pink wheel your knife is razor sharp again, it is extremely sharp and my wife cut her finger washing it. so do take care when handling. really impressed, will buy Global Knives again without hesitation.
