I cannot advise using these for wood of any kind other than the hardest wood species. Using these will make your project take twice as long if you are applying any kind of finish. The only way I was able to use these was to use a Dremel tool and make a smooth dome out of the sharp pointer tops. To use them in the finishing process I took sis of them that I rounded off and drilled a hole through the top down. I then inserted some screws with the screw head just barely coming out of the top. Then I used Gorilla Glue and permanently glued soft rubber tops about three times the circumference of the screw heads. Not only does this safely support the project, the rubber pads make it so the project stays in place.These are great for metal or plastic things to rest on but finished wood you will need to improvise as I did to make them work for you.

These are great however they are so pointy they leave dimples in the back of canvases. When I use them on wood panels they work fine, though they are a little short for deeper panels 1.5" or greater.

I never knew these existed until reading how to posts on Pinterest for painting cabinets. I’ll never paint without them again! It makes it so much easier to get around all sides and the small point allows you to flip your work over sooner without damaging the surface. I just need to figure out how to make themWork like a lazy Susan.

For years I have used wooden blocks when painting or refinishing furniture. I saw these and decided to give them a try. I can believe how much easier they made my project. So worth the money!

Not good with smaller canvases

These things seem sturdy. Don’t go crazy and try to park a car on them and they should do what they’re designed to do for many years.

I really like this little set. I tried them and was surprised at how well they worked. Seems like a good buy
