Lycamobile USA Prepaid Sim Cards Include 30 Days Service Plan ($19)

Apenas llegué a los Estados Unidos coloque este Sim card que me permitió estar conectado en todo momento. El wifi del apartamento no tenía mucha velocidad pero con este Sim pude hacer video llamadas y usar Maps en cualquier lugar. Volvería a comprarlo cDa vez que viaje. Fundamental para usar Uber.

Instructions of activation were very clear. I didnt have a single issue with activation or usage. Additionally, I received the item ahead of time, which was very kind of the delivery team. Overall, the service was 10/10.

Even in major metropolitan areas lost coverage regularly and data extremely slow when available. Would not use Lycamobile again.

I always get these to keep an american number. They work great, it’s just sometimes I have to contact support to add international credits because you can’t get a code from the number if you run out of international credits.

It was so easy to install the sim card and to activate it was done with such ease for me.

Easy enough to set up - if you’re not organized and purchase it afterwards, you’ll be needing the internet. I needed a ‘local’ SIM card to make call and send messages… not overly fussed about internet which by the way is not unlimited! However apart from sending text, I can’t seem to place calls at all. I can receive calls. Conclusion: not really

once the authorization was sorted and the sim was activated, all was great in high signal areas. Poor coverage when roaming. Not sure if this is normal for U.S. phone plans.

We bought two $19 plans paying $18.50 CAD for each, which was amazing. At that time it included at least 1Gb of fast data (now deal probably changed), and it was good to know that even if we exceeded the limit, we would still have slower data. Activate a day in advance to be sure you are covered starting from the border (we traveled by car). Uses one of the best USA providers' networks, so you will be well covered. Best deal for money we could get from Canada. We also ordered TextNow SIM cards to a US address (just $1 each, check it out!), those worked fine for calls/text, but we did not buy data plans for them, as Lycamobile was more than enough. Highly recommended!
