I read some good and some bad reviews on this. Most of the bad seemed to indicate the hollow handle can fill with water and leak out onto the cheese. It's small enough that it can be quickly and easily hand-washed, so it should avoid that issue for me. As for the cheeses, it's the perfect width for producing very thin slices of partial skim mozzarella bricks and sharp cheddar bricks. Another complaint people had was that it "tears" or causes crumbling at the end of the cut. For my use, I just slowed down toward the end of the cut and that seems to work just fine. I'm looking forward to trying it on pepperoni.

Slices cheeses nicely, easy to use

We had another cheese slicer and it went walk about at some point...not sure where...but we needed another and shopping on Amazon turned up this Boska model. We liked the rating and we very much liked the one piece stainless construction. Ordered it and have been nothing but pleased with the purchase since getting it. We've used it on alot of different block cheeses and every has slice every one without issue. As expected, it is easy to clean and we're using it quite a bit with great results every time. I sort of wish it had a little more heft...it's really very light, but my wife loves the weight. In any case, it does what it's supposed to do and does it very well. Construction is excellent and despite the light weight it is not at all flimsy, but quite solid when using it...not too much flex at all. Very happy with this purchase and would order again without reserve.

Much lighter and smaller than I imagined it would be. Almost felt cheap at first, but it has worked very well for citrus garnish.

It is ok but not great on hard cheeses. Too lightweight.

I love this slicer, my parents had one similar that's about 40 years old and it still works great. Slices the cheese in just the right size, thickness etc.

I guess I was living under a rock, because I would never have guessed this was a cheese knife slicerr, if you will). I saw it on Instagram, and this looked like a good quality brand. And it is. The slicer is very sharp, but safe to use, and my fingers and the blade are not a where close. The slices I get are even and perfectly thin. I use it almost every day!
