Dog happy with it
My dog has lots of fun with it . My dog is not a chewer so I do not need to worry about her getting to the battery . I actually bought a second one for a friends dog .

Waste of money
The item I bought is a wee bit bigger than a golfball a lot smaller than the pictures in the add plus it doesn’t roll very well or bounce great and is to noisy

Loud value for money
This annoying toy has kept my puppy interested longer than anything else he has apart from the things he shouldn’t have. My son removed it from him to watch TV. It is sturdy and without the chargeable inner ball Theo was not interested in it.

A really fun toy, ideal for small to medium sized dogs.
This is a great little toy but the emphasis s very much on little; at just 52mm (a little over 2") diameter it's much smaller than most dog balls I've had. It's outer casing is made from quite thick hard plastic with a silicone covering that both protects the casing from damage and increases its ability to bounce on harder surfaces, the inner mechanical section is made from a similar plastic.Opening it charge it requires you to open the case unscrewing the sections, they don't only screw together, at the end of the threaded part there’s a "lock" which snaps into place when you give it a firm twist at the end of the thread, this prevents the ball from simply unscrewing in use. It's not a particularly loud mechanism but to be honest I doubt the nose level would be a factor to be concerned about when you have a dog chasing this thing around. It has a power saving feature that turns it off after a few minutes of inactivity so the battery should last quite well although I'd be surprised if it ran for more than an hour or so on a charge.I ordered it to help entertain the little dog my GFs niece & nephew now bring with them when we are childminding, it kept him happy for quite a while yesterday evening, he & the kids had enormous fun.I do have a couple of reservations however. It's a type of hard plastic that can fragment when it gets broken, it's very resilient and tough so it would take a lot to damage it but if it were to get crushed between doors for example it could potentially get damaged so I would recommend that it's checked over regularly and if it gets any cracks discarded right away. Also I don't think it's a suitable toy for larger dogs with more powerful jaws as they could potentially break it open, I had a German Shepard/Rottweiler cross a few years ago that would have made very short work of a ball like this; for smaller or medium sized dogs though it's a really fun toy.At £7.99 or £6.99 for the orange one I do think it's near the top of its value range but still a decent price.
